I have been here a few times now and the food is great. The premises is more of a take away service so the restaurant has never been busy when I have been in either week day or sat night. So if you don't mind not having many other people around you then this is great. You can bring your own alcohol and I have previously bought in a bottle of red wine and another time some beers to enjoy. The food is great value and also really nice. So this makes for a good quality meal that is also very cheap. During the week it was completely empty on my visits and on the Saturday just a handful of other people in. The staff are friendly and welcoming and explained that the lack of sit down customers is because they have a very successful take away business. So it's obviously popular as a take away as the food is great but the place is quiet. If you don't mind that then I would recommend it

Our first visit since the renovation and we had a very enjoyable meal. The dishes were not exactly as we have had elsewhere but the flavours were excellent. Chilli levels were not as hot as we like but next time I fully expect they will adjust it as we request. It is a bit disappointing that the lamb is strips rather than normal chunks i.e. usually more flavour in the latter. Menu has a few more "different" dishes than others. Lovely Lassi and nice to have a BYO option for preferred alcohol (no overpriced lager!)

Very tasty food. Polite and prompt service. Feeling very full right now.. Comprehensive menu with all your favorites! They don't have a liqour licence but are happy for you to bring your own!! Good portions and authentic dishes.. I'd highly recommend to sit down or take away.

Best Indian restaurant in Portslade area. Food is so tasty and if you getting a takeaway they always deliver the food on time. Also they give customers some loyalty 5 pounds cheques from time to time.

We thought we'd try somewhere new for a takeaway and, oh my word, we weren't disappointed. Really tasty food that clearly was a class above so many other establishments. Such a.depth of flavour that made you realise this was restaurant quality food delivered to your door for free. A credit to the chef and everyone involved.

Delicious and fresh. Lovely service, very friendly place for families and couples alike. I was particularly pleased with my paneer dish, the produce they use is authentic and cooked properly. Compliments to the chef. Another bonus is BYO , no overpriced wine for customers. We will definitely be back.

Ordered delivery via their website. The delivery time quoted at point of ordering was pretty accurate. The food hot and delicious. For some reason we've really been struggling to find a take away curry we've liked. Well, now we've found one and will be ordering from here again! Dropped a star as, while we were prepared for a long wait (1 hour), it was 20mins over at about 1hour 20mins. Edit: Having liked it enough to visit two days running, I went for collection and now realise just how far from my house it is! I'm amazed they delivered to us at all. Five stars!

Having tried many of the local curry restaurants we seem to have settled on Tikka as our favourite. It's great for takeaway and to eat in (BYO booze though there are local off licenses on the street where you can get what you like). Friendly staff who seem pleased to see you and, of course, the food is reliably brilliant. We must have had a dozen or more takeaways from them and have never had any issues whatsoever.
