My favourite chippy in Sussex. I have been here multiple times now and have always enjoyed my scran, it's always cooked fresh to order and is therefore piping hot. Coeliac safe and a great offering for those seeking sustenance without gluten. In terms of fish I would definitely recommend the haddock over the cod, much better quality I have found but you may have a differing opinion.

We just tried it for the first time and will definitely be back. Chips were great, the batter crispy and tasty, and it wasn't overly greasy so didn't have that ick feeling afterwards. We tried the gluten free batter, delicious pea fritter! Clean premises, friendly service - our new go to chip shop!

Excellent fish & chips....They must use fresh oil regularly as the food tastes clean and isn't greasy at all. They have a good menu to choose from too. Highly recommended to take care of those chippy cravings!

Came here on the evening of 21/01/24 after moving into my digs a 15 minute walk away. I’ve just come back today (25/01/24) and I’m writing this whilst I wait for my food on my second visit. It’s amazing. Great value for money, great service, clearly labelled vegetarian section — and of course; Gluten Free options — there’s a whole gluten free section of the menu, which as someone with a coeliac brother is great to see.
Also, I ordered the homemade pea fritter, not knowing what it was. Battered Mushy Peas - SO LOVELY! I’m here for 2 more weeks so I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Nano!

Absolutely super - so tasty and fresh, the person serving was very polite and friendly too. Gluten free options for both fish eaters and veggies, the pea fritter was unreal (a big ball of mushy pees fried) and the chips were yummmm

Great food cooked to order really tasty food.
The owner is a friendly gentleman and very polite and accommodating.
They even have gluten free which is excellent for those who gluten in tolerant.
You will find it on Preston Park main road into Brighton.
Well worth a stop at to order your tea or supper.
