I loved it. As a Student from Germany I really had to try a grilled cheese and this is the best place to do so!!!! Enough vegetarian and vegan options. Loved the comfy atmosphere. Nice staff. Would recommend!!

One of the best lunch places in the area. These are incredibly tasty toasted sandwiches that will keep you full for a while! Usually go for the brisket crunch but the others I've had are also great. The soup deal they run sometimes is also a great choice for lunch. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming.

Sooo filling. Lovely gentleman serving so freindly. 10/10 loved and would return. Indoor and outdoor seating with great tunes.

Is it?

Pretty good toasties for Brighton / I have tried a couple of them but my favourite has to be the blue cheese with caramelised onions. The combination is nice and toasted well but could use a bit more caramelised onions. As for the soups, it’s a hit and miss. Overall really good but there’s room to do much more.

Extremely delicious sandwich Chose to have the gammon crunch in sourdough bread and it really hit the spot, big enough portion for 2 people to have a snack or a hearty lunch for 1 ♡ Highly recommend, nice fella behind the counter and cozy little shop, nice and toastie

If you ever find yourself doubting google reviews- don’t doubt this one. This place just hits the spot and has plenty of options to hit yours. Coming from London the prices just blew me away and the food was sublime.
