Sagg = amazing lots of chicken and lovely taste
Vindaloo= spicy flavoursome and beautiful chicken with a rice popadom and onion all included with it this is truly a lovely takeaway for BN2 and the surrounds. Fast cooked arrived all hot and well cooked with lovely side dishes the chilli paneer was sooooo nice as are there other sides.
Try this and see how nice you find it compared to pretentious other curry houses.
They made the Best Madras curry I’ve ever tried and I’ve had a few. Highly recommend 5 star
Pishwari Naan is a work of art and got a cheeky lil TV to watch while you wait. Been here countless times.
Banging as always. gone here for many years now and was surprised to see the bad reviews. Ordered anyway and was as good as usual.
Remember for a place like this people will usually only write a negative review from a bad experience or mistake and would rarely write one from a good experience.

If ordering for the first time, I'd ignore the bad reviews, read the positive reviews, then order and make up your own mind 😊
We have been ordering from them for 7+ years. We have never experienced any leaking containers or broken poppadoms, even though that wouldn't be a surprise.. if you've had a popadom before..
The food is really delicious and I also like how friendly the team are on the phone and in person if you pop in for collection.
It's our favourite Indian takeaway in Brighton. I love their Sag paneer, lamb pathia and their special rice is the best! Thanks Empire Tandoori!
This place has very quickly become my go-to for healthy Indian food takeout in Brighton. They don't smother your curries with oil like some places do and everything always seems fresh! Another bonus is that everyone who works there is always smiling and polite! If you're on the fence about trying this place, I'd highly recommend giving it a go!

OMG! I had the nicest takeaway meal I have EVER had last night, I have just finished the leftovers which seemed even better if that's possible - why do leftovers taste sooo good?! I had cheesy peas (motor paneer) which to those that are un-initiated , including me until last night, are a revelation albeit a decadent one, chicken Korma (I know that will not seem an exciting choice but I'm not keen on spicy food), that came with pilau rice & a popadom- they very kindly let me change to egg fried rice at no extra charge. Also a cheesy nan & a couple of extra popadom's & onion salad that also cam with the Korma. All this came to £12 exactly & has more or less lasted me 3 meals as the portion sizes are generous.
Whilst I was sitting waiting for my grub, I heard some laughter from their open kitchen so looked up from my phone & just thought how nice it was to see a group of people getting on so well & what a nice atmosphere it must be to work in. Hadn't noticed that one of the guys had been giving slices of nan to his colleagues, but I think when they saw me looking they very sweetly came & offered me a slice too. Not normally on their menu it was cheese garlic & minced lamb nan, crispy melt in the mouth, with a slow gentle heat that came afterwards. The chap who'd offered it to me said that despite it not being on their menu if I fancied it when I was next in just to ask.
All in all - bloody amazing good value food, a lovely bunch of people that seem to go above & beyond a normal takeaway, that will make your order into more or less what you fancy even if not on the menu. Plus of course all in an open kitchen - best best Indian I have EVER been to!! Well done guys 🤗
Order from here most weeks! Consistently good food, flexible on making most dishes veggie if you want. So much flavour in everything highly recommend! Lovely staff too.
Recently taken over by new owner. Very very good food. And I have never waited more than an hour for delivery. I live around this area and have tried most of the Indian restaurants and empire is currently the best!
