Rose Niyom Thai

Highly recommend the lunch specials at Rose Niyom Thai in Nundah! The Pad See Ew chicken and Chilli Basil chicken with rice both were delicious. They definitely didn't tone down the chilli because my tongue was tingly even after the can of Solo. They also didn't reduce the serving size for the discounted price and quality was their usual good standard. For $11.90 you get a can of soft drink as well with your meal. Great value for money!

Love Love this place. It’s been a favourite of mine ever since I found it. Been getting take away from here for the last couple of years also dined in a few times. Food is always fresh & tastes delicious. Portion sizes are huge, if I get take away it does me for two meals. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

We have previously dined at this restaurant many times and enjoyed the meals. This time, mother's day lunch and a birthday for 4 people. We had reserved a table for 1pm and upon entering restaurant was pointed to a table next to the door way even though only 2 tables taken up. Asked for another table and nil issues to move. 10 minutes later a waiter brings water and since we had decided on a banquet, 4 entres 4 mains and rice, was easy to order. Also asked for 4 wine glasses, an ice bucket and tea for 4. After 25 mins i got up and approached front desk and was given 4 glasses. 10mins later received ice bucket after asking again. After being at the restaurant for 45 mins we were given 1 of the main meals. We asked for the entres and was told they were 15 to 20 mins away. Main was taken away. 5 minutes later the entres arrived. All we cold and the chicken was dry. We waited for the waitress to return so we could have plates so we could eat our entrees. Again approached front counter for these. Approx 20 mins later we started getting our mains. The 3rd main was stone cold and asked for them to take it back. Also asked for the entre plates to be taken away. At approx 2:15pm received another meal and was also told they were closing at 2:30pm. 5 mins later we received our 4th main. We then had to ask for our rice and waited for it. Don't ask about tea for 4. Never got tea for 4. Very disappointing. No explanation given and no discounts offered.
