I went to this restaurant a few hours ago and I definitely will not be back. I ordered the Japanese Udon Noodle Soup and as I was eating, I noticed a little dead bug in the soup. I then looked closer at what I thought was pepper or seasoning and every single black speck had legs. There were tens of tiny bugs in my meal.
Edit: After receiving a reply from the owner, I will add a few things for clarity. After noticing the bugs and bringing them to the attention of the staff, they offered only to take that single dish off our bill. We told them that we did not feel that we should have to pay for any of it, and thankfully they did not give us a hard time. We immediately left the restaurant and no one from our party of four ate any more of their meals after I found bugs in mine. More than half of each meal was left on the table. I also find it incredibly odd, and I am honestly quite offended, that it has been said that the kitchen staff didn't find anything strange about the dish. I will not waste any more time on this, but I do not think that this is acceptable.

This is an amazing family-owned gem in Bristol's historic downtown area. We dined outdoors on the covered patio, right along State St. Some highlights of our meal include: the best hot and sour soup I have had anywhere; shatteringly crisp *homemade* spring rolls (the peppery beef one is especially delicious); locally sourced roast duck; pan-fried shrimp and water chestnuts; and a chow mei fun strewn with fluffy egg and vegetables. Everything was delicious, and we can't wait to return!

Today was our first time here and I just wanted to say that it was wonderful. My husband ate the Generals Chicken and I had the Szechuan Chicken w/veg., both from the lunch menu. The meat was not covered in a thick breading and the sauces was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service was awesome. Thank you to Mr and Mrs. Chen.

I will never eat here again, we had lunch here and after eating we stepped outside. There was a homeless man that was hungry I told him I would buy his lunch and was going to sit with him, so we went in the restaurant and I asked to be seated and the lady told me he was not welcome there. I told her I was paying and she still said the same thing. If there to good too help someone out in need then I'm too good to eat in their establishment.

Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The hot and sour soup might be the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. The meat was lean and tender. Definitely worth a visit!!
