Stopped in during my first and only trip to Bristol - I'm a big fan of Thai food and pretty picky about it but I saw the good reviews and gave it a chance. I'm happy I did. If I'm ever back in town, I will absolutely visit Tong Phoon again. The tom yum soup was great and I loved the spicy cashew chicken. Both were delicious - and the portions were generous too! See pictures. Strongly recommend this place.

Great food, but spice level was not consistent with my groups dishes. We all put a spicy level of 3 when ordering. Some were so spicy it was inedible, others felt like they forgot to put the spice in.

My husband and I have gone to hundreds of restaurants of all calibers throughout the country. In our opinion, Tong Phoon provides the most consistently fresh and consistently well made food we have ever had. It is our go-to recommendation to anyone traveling to Bristol, RI or the surrounding area. Out of the 30-40 times we have been, only once did we have even the slightest "complaint" about the food, and it was only a few bites of seafood were a touch overcooked. Other than that, absolute perfection! My husband's go-to is the Drunken Noodles and mine is the Phoon Garlic with a seafood medley. If you are contemplating trying it out, you will not regret it!

hands down best experience I have had at any restaurant. friendly service, great food, and nice atmosphere. went here with my wife and toddler son, and they even brought out a kids place setting for him! out of all the restaurants we have been to as a family, this was the first one that went the extra mile in terms of creating a great experience for the ENTIRE family. next time we are in Bristol, we will definitely be eating here again!

Food is excellent. Great service and good sized portions. The owner is from Bangkok and makes Bangkok style stir fried basil, it's a must try. Very authentic - would recommend to anyone who wants delicious thai food.
