Cute unpretentious local restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Perfectly cooked pork belly (which it is not always obvious) and artichoke dish stood out!

This is British cuisine at its best; interesting concoctions and superb flavours. The menu lends itself to mixing and matching - British tapas so to speak! The restaurant is small, so it’s very intimate; the staff are lovely and welcoming. A great place - I highly recommend it!

Lovely neighbourhood restaurant, excellent sharing plates with good quality locally sourced food. Enjoyed the pork belly, Arancini and salmon tartare and great selection of wines. Friendly and welcoming service in a relaxed setting. Highly recommended and we will certainly be coming back

What a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant! Delicious food and amazing helpful staff. An absolute must!

Small, intimate restaurant with great food and staff. Went for Sunday lunch, the starter was yummy but over priced, the beef was perfect but let down slightly by the roast potatoes which were too hard for my liking. Normally this wouldn’t matter but at £40 per head all in with wine they really need to smash it for the 5th star. Would still recommend

We went here for a last-minute evening out and we all agreed that it was absolutely outstanding. It is unpretentious and everything is so well thought through - the cooking was perfect, flavours amazing (try the celeriac and truffle soup!!), gorgeous wine, lovely friendly staff. Everything about the experience was relaxed yet special. Thank you!

Definitely, our favorite restaurant in Bristol so far. For people who don't like mainstream places, this is the place. It's a little bit expensive (we paid £46 each for 3 small dishes, dessert and a glass of wine each), but you get what pay, it's a nice treat for once in a while. The quality of the food is amazing (the beef and the lamb were one of our favorite things, and from the desserts, the chocolate fudge is a must have, so leave so room for it). The waitress were incredibly sweet and smiley. And finally, the restaurant per se is very quiet, with low and chilling music, what makes the customers to speak in a low voice, and the surrounding is just a very nice and quiet neighborhood.
Tip for newcomers, get 3 small dishes, and the dessert!

Opened under new ownership a few weeks before we went. Very impressed!
Fantastic English-style tapas dishes. Best dessert we've ever had (white chocolate mousse)! Great service and atmosphere. Looking forward to going again soon.
