Whenever we are in Bristol we always make sure we come here. Been here 4-5 times and it’s always great! Love the Camembert & pork belly starter. The steak is always lovely. Love the butters and sauce it comes with!!

Bristol's top steak restaurant! Great attentive staff and extensive wine selection. While pricey, it's a must-visit for steak lovers and special occasions. I'll be back for more soon!

Wow!! What an amazing place. I loved the food and the concept. Never again can you complain how somebody cooks your steak, because you physically cook it yourself!! To service was outstanding. They were a lovely bunch of guys. The cocktails were great, the service was exceptional and the food was out of this world. I loved the butters you can pick yourself from a list of about 7, and the sauces were great too.I had the smoked cheese and the honey butters with a wild mushroom sauce. I will be having this again. Quite pricey but who doesn’t complain that things could be cheaper these days ‘eh? Such a lovely place all round and will be coming here again.

A very exciting and fun eating experience. The staff is very patient in explaining the menu and showing how to use the hot stone to prepare your steak. There are different choices of butter and sauces. All are nice. Besides beef steak, they also serve venison. The mocktails are must try … ! However, the biggest table can only accommodate 5 people. Also, they charge a 15% service charge. On the whole, this is a highly-recommended restaurant.

Unreal as always! The hot stone is a quality concept without being a gimmick. Meat quality is exceptional, communication was flawless. My only wish is that there was a béarnaise option as that’s my personal favourite. Thank you so much

Very friendly atmosphere and delicious steak. Truffle croutons were an incredible starter, and having 4 different butters to cook the steak on the stone is a must-try experience. The sauces were also very high quality, which made this experience top-level. Slightly expensive, but definitely worth it as a celebration meal.

This is comfortably the best meal we’ve had in a long while. You’re extremely well looked after the second you step through the door. We had the porterhouse steak and the quality of cut was unreal, as were the sauces and butters. Lucas looked after us and couldn’t have done more, super nice guy and we wish him happy birthday tomorrow. Kris was making by far the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had as well a top good accountant (half way between White Russian and espresso martini). Hugely recommend Edit - Kris recommended a hot-sauce stall on St Nicks and I bought the hottest sauce they had and it nearly eviscerated me - there for I blame Kris and give 4.99 stars instead

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Bristol. I love the concept of cooking on a hot plate. I had a tuna steak and was able to cook it perfectly.
