We just moved to Bristol and were looking for a Persian restaurant in the city, and ended up at Shiraz late on a weekend, about 2 weeks ago. The food was great and the service was even better! My husband is Persian and he enjoyed the food and atmosphere a lot. We also had tea and shisha outside in their back patio after dinner and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Great starters, but main courses for veggies a bit bland - I had aubergine in lentil and tomato sauce, which was nice but came with just a large plate of white rice, while my meat-eating friend had some nice salad with his. Wholegrain basmatti or bread would have been good options. Also slightly expensive.

The lamb shoulder is fresh and food piping hot and amazing. Bit expensive but probably worth it if you want authentic Iranian food.
