We have eaten at the Mint Room (Bath) many times over the years and have never been disappointed. Having both the Set Menu and A La Carte.

We are visiting here after 4+ years. Atmosphere and service is top class, as always been. BIRIYANI here is the best in Bristol so far. Yenna kathrikka and coconut rice was a signature south Indian dish that we loved too. Mint cheese cake was great too. Added Mint room to our regular visiting restaurants list. See you soon, and more often. 😊
This is going to be a difficult review. I am reluctantly giving four stars because when seen relative to the price, it is really only 3 stars - it was okay.
The food and the drinks were absolutely fine, as was the service and the atmosphere.
It just did not warrant paying about twice as much as in any other decent Indian restaurant in the area.

Unusual tasty dishes in a really attractive setting.

More fine dining than cheap and cheerful traditional Indian food.
Most staff were attentive and kind but service slow.
However, one female member of staff seemed disinterested in us/her job when we visited and when getting towards closing time, made us feel uncomfortable, rushing us settle our bill so that she could finish work.
This left a bitter taste in our mouths as we’d come for a birthday celebration and hadn’t complained once about the slow service, understanding what a difficult time hospitality has been experiencing.

Fantastic authentic Indian food, of a contemporary style and much emphasis on presentation.
This is a cut above the average “Indian Restaurant”, and reflects its pricing.
Somewhere to go perhaps for a special occasion rather than a “beer and curry Friday”.
I frequently visit both of their branches on such occasions.
We came to Bath for the weekend and as my husband loves Indian food thought we’d try The Mint Room. What a delightful gem! We had the most fabulous meal and evening and have recommended it time and again. If you are in Bath, and like Indian food I urge you strongly to go!
I've eaten at Mint rooms many times and love the food. The food is different lots of thought going into creating dishes with great flavour and taste. We've have also hired for groups with has been great amazing service.
