The Cowshed

Went for a large group Xmas dinner. I was impressed with the quality and speed of service, everyone got their dinners within minutes of each other. The food was good, I can highly recommend the duck starter and chocolate orange gateau. Couple of very minor aspects which could have been improved upon but seemed just a genuine mistake which was rectified quickly and those affected were satisfied with the outcome and staff were apologetic. All round, cowshed has some delicious food and again had an experience that will keep me coming back for more. Thanks for accommodating our party.

Lovely food. I require Gluten free and a steakhouse does that well. The starters were lovely and the steaks cooked perfectly, I had mine with peppercorn sauce which if done right is lovely and this definitely was done right! It is expensive but in the middle of Clifton and very good quality food I'm not surprised. The staff were also great too. I wish I could remember our servers name she was lovely.

I've eaten several times and always had great meals. This time I visited with my special needs grandson. They were all incredibly kind, putting us somewhere quiet, moving tables, catering for his needs. The staff were so kind and caring and we had a wonderful meal too. The food is beyond wonderful, puddings exceptional, but the care they showed us was beyond kind. Thank you so much!

I have been to the Cowshed a couple of times before and both times I have had an amazing steak! The Cowshed do some amazing accompaniments with the steaks and the service is great. It is a lovely restaurant, pricey - so I normally only go here for special occasions but it is nice! The steaks I have had there have been cooked perfectly.
