Really welcoming staff and excellent cooking. Fairly simple menu of breakfasts, falafel or kebab salads and sandwiches. But so delicious!

I visit whenever I am in Bristol/Redland for a spot of brunch. They do great breakfasts. I like their poached eggs, so try the shaksuka, the middle eastern egg and merguez pot, or the eggs florentine/ benedict/ royale. My wife likes their selection of paninis. They have a wide range of refreshing teas and drinks too and will provide tap water. Prices are still reasonable for the area. Perhaps the only down side is that you might have to wait to be seated because they are very busy at times (particularly weekend brunch).

Very pleasant independent cafe. Ordered at the counter and food brought quickly to the table. Wide selection of savory food and some imaginative cakes (banana and peanut was delicious). Coffee was excellent. Large pavement area good for warm days.

Cafe-meets-restaurant with interesting food. A blend of a place, mixing a very competent and generous full English with the avo, shakshuka, mergez, mezze options. Menus are on plastic olde-worlde style pages, thé décor is like à Côte or café rouge yet there are Middle Eastern touches, smells and flavours. Great for a coffee or brunch and ideally placed on a corner to watch the world go by on Cotham Hill. A great local venue.

Popped in by chance on the way to forwards festival. Had a stunning brunch with a beautiful, rich vegetable stew with lamb sausage and flatbread. It was so full of flavour and filling. Really set me up perfectly for the rest of the day. Service was really friendly and helpful, despite it being very busy. Next time I’m around I’ll definitely revisit. Thanks!

Amazing breakfast and coffee for a reasonable price. The restaurant was busy, but the service was unbelievably fast. A must try!

There is a reason this cafe is always so busy! The staff were friendly and tentative, the atmosphere was casual and enjoyable. There’s seating outside to bask in the sunshine, while you devour one of their delicious breakfasts. Easily THE best breakfast we’ve had in Bristol - the bacon, sausages and tomato are cooked over an open flame grill, you can taste the fresh charred flavour. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!!

Came here for brunch with my husband to celebrate our 9 year anniversary after finding ourselves with a rare child-free morning. Gorgeous place with lovely outdoor seating. Lovely community feel, and really well run. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. Quality produce and friendly staff. Will definitely be back again!

I am lost for words, What a lovely place! Best egg benedicts I had in a while, the aesthetics were on point, and I can not recommend the rose lemonade enough! The staff was really kind, and two of them turned out to be Turkish, it was great to order in my native language! And the prices are reasonable in this current day and age, the plate you see, and the lemonade was just under 12£ in total Overall 10/10, will come again

American tourist visiting Bristol, went to this area to drop off some laundry items then miraculously stumbled upon this spot when searching for breakfast. The food was absolutely sublime, best full English in Bristol, and dare I say the best full English I have had in the country. The servers were all very kind and hospitable. Generously portioned food, thoughtfully cooked and presented to enjoy with all the fixings, and everything made to your specifications should you have any. And they give you a huge pot of tea for the price you’d pay for a single cup elsewhere. If you’re in Bristol, this place is a must for breakfast. If the owners see this, thank you for a brilliant experience!
