Great service, brilliant friendly staff, food is tops with good variety, at decent prices, service by app if you want it, lots of sports on or the quieter (large) restaurant section if you prefer it. Heated covered outside at the front plus a covered beer garden at the back. Lots of parking. Great place.

Air balloon is a good atmosphere pub, nice food and lovely staff. The bar staff are experts at their crafts and know how to put a smile on my face. I can't fault this place at all, welcoming staff and decent food and drinks!

Basically like food pub with numbers on tables etc. Sports on big screens and a bit of a gambling area. Food is good. People working there are polite and helpful.
Queuing system is inadequate and this makes the ordering process frustingly slow an queues can grow quickly when normal drinkers need to get service too.
Another till would not go amiss but it is a good place and the grub is more than decent.

Cracking pub, great food, staff went above and beyond not just for our table but all the tables. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. So glad to see the manager jo back too! My favourite stop in Bristol.

the food was served quickly and it was made to a high standard, the overall atmosphere in the pub was amazing. the bar staff were so helpful, upbeat and made me feel so comfortable ordering at the bar. i’ll definitely be recommending the air balloon to my friends and family, it was a lovely experience.

Dog friendly, child safe, friendly pub with plenty of parking. Outside (covered) space. Food appears to be typical cooked from frozen but is generously portioned and has good taste. Pool table. Friendly locals. Outside, you can hear noisy traffic, but that's to be expected from its location. There are several steps up... I'm not sure if disabled/ramp access is available.

Popped into the Air Balloon for an evening meal 15/8/23. We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn just across the Gloucester Road. We enjoyed our scampi, chips and peas, a simple old time classic but perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Would have given 5 stars but having to order everything at the busy bar put us off having a dessert afterwards because the wait would have been too long.

Just popped in on the off chance We have not been here for quite some time. The welcome was very pleasant and very friendly. My daughter and I ordered BOGOF Deal off 2 x £7.89 and I must say it was absolutely amazing. The whole presentation was very good also plenty of it. The burgers were cooked beautifully with cheese slices and bacon and onions and Mayo. The chips were delicious too WELL all of it was delicious. WELL DONE…. Lovely pub and food is excellent for the price. I had a steak fondue sharer meal too myself.
Was lovely. Could done with more sauce and thebsteak was fine but not of beat quality. That's 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars. But over all brilliant.
Good selection of drinks and not a bad price.
My partners meal was lovely. And my child meal also was good.
