This is a brilliant place for anyone who loves to garden. They have taken great thought in their placement of plants, there is loads of information about them and there is a good mix of under cover and open space. We spent a good few hours walking round. Prices are good too. The Tea room is great and the staff lovely. We had elevenses and also lunch and two lovely hot pots of tea, very delicious. We will definitely be back.
Very welcoming and engaging members of staff in both garden centre and the tea room cafe and a beautiful cat was roaming through, settled on the conservatory. I spent £7 on food/drink, £32 on hand made hanging heart-shaped slates in the tea room cafe, and £35 on plants in the garden centre. Dogs allowed on leads. Beautiful selection of house plants, garden plants, and vegetables. Excellent price point and all very healthy looking. This was my first visit, and I will definitely return.
In case anyone is looking for a part-time job, the tea room cafe is short staffed and advertising MAY 2023, very friendly, lovely atmosphere.

Wow what a gardeners experience. I've finally found a reasonably priced tree fern .... got slightly addicted when I went in there. £250 later but I can't wait to win best garden on Hungerford Road again
Gorgeous little cafe, calm break in a beautiful environment surrounded by flowers, art, tasteful music and friendly people. Delicious homemade cakes, great coffee and kind attentive staff. Totally recommend this hidden gem for a visit.
We visited Brackenwood early on a Saturday morning prior to a bank holiday weekend so as not to miss out on planting time. We were not disappointed - the plants are well tended and very good value. We bought 25 large shrubs and flowering plants for £150 and also chances upon the perfect patio set for £275. Another plus was the chocolate caramel brownie and excellent coffee. Divine!
This place is absolutely gorgeous, such a beautiful garden centre with beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees and more and displayed fantastically. And a lovely cafe with lots of choice available.
The only negative thing I would say is that they have no precautions around the foxglove family of plants! THESE CAN KILL!
Tucked away gem. Healthy, reasonably priced large selection of plants. And lovely tea shop with cake. My new favourite garden centre. Very impressed

A lovely centre with a great selection of plants. There is also a good coffee shop that despite the rain outside was welcoming and comfortable. Worth the trip.
