Absolutely banging roast!! Really good quality and good portion size - juicy meat, crispy roasties, lovely veg & thick yummy gravy. The service was a little bit hectic but would deffo come back as such incredible food & lovely staff.

The bus service was canceled and they stopped the bus in Clifton village. I was hungry and facing a 30 min walk home, So I went into this pub and it was so nice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming the food (light lunch) was top notch very tasty! Will be returning!

An incredible Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak Clifton! Exceptional service from everyone working, especially from Luke who looked after us. Delicious food, good portion size to leave satisfied but not uncomfortable. Comfy high seating, fantastic atmosphere, and a clean, uncrowded environment. Highly recommended!

Great little bar, good selection of 241 cocktails, small menu but it's more of a bar than a restaurant, beautifully done out in an olde worldy dark snug bar.

Nice pub in a great location to experience Clifton village.
We tried a variety of dishes from the menu. Presentation fantastic, detail was superb, flavours were great and it was obvious that there's pride in the offering.
Will definitely recommend and revisit.
Parking available in nearby streets and there are levels to the venue, each with their own 'micro atmosphere'.

Very relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The service was very prompt and the staff were helpful and accommodated my individual dietary needs. The food tasted delicious 😋. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Superb Sunday roast. Excellent service, nice atmosphere, food was outstanding. Only one minor comment, the cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese was undercooked and there was not enough cheese sauce (based on my preference). Advise booking for larger parties.
