Useful when trains are delayed and you can't face standing on a cold windy platform. This refuge from the outside world provides a pub-like experience that makes you feel better about being stuck in a station. It offers a standard range of hot and cold drinks with a limited set of basic options for meals. It's not sophisticated or chic but its friendly staff help to make it a welcome retreat.

Great for drowning your sorrows when your train is late especially if you're not sensitive about the interesting prices. Last time I had a pint of Butcombe there it was perfect but haven't seen it since. Best thing is the sound track; the punk and heavy metal classics of my generation. Alas pogo-ing and head banging are outside my operational parameters these days!

This place is on the Cask Marque Ale Trail, but pick your moment, it's on the ticket holder side of the barrier at Temple Meads railway station and not casually come across. The building itself is quite old - probably part of the original build and inside the ceiling is about 15' above your head, it's a huge barn of a place. On this occasion, I was in early and the ale taps had not been pulled through - dispensing with the overnight pipe 'stew' - there is bottled beer though. You'll also need bar help to scan the certificate - it's behind the counter above the kitchen door.

A lovely place to drink on the seafront of Weston-super-Mare. Good range of drinks at reasonable prices. And friendly and polite staff too. I only had drinks here, but they do food too. And menu looked and sounded very good. Will definitely recommend stopping for a drink here. And when I go back to Weston-super-Mare I will certainly eat here.

Got there when it was quiet, got served by friendly staff and the food was good. Prices are higher than usual but that's to be expected at a train station. Happy I went, had no issues and will go again.

One of the better station cafés, it's very large and I can always find a seat. Lots of comfy chairs. The best thing is the cheerful and friendly staff.

Brilliant Service. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean. Even the toilets are ultra clean. I can thoroughly recommend this coffee shop. 5 stars.

Came in here as I was waiting for a train so I grabbed a coffee and a bite to eat. Coffee was nice and they even had different flavoured syrups! Staff were friendly and helpful, however, the place itself needs a slight makeover. I can appreciate that it's an old building but the decor is a bit bland.

Generally good staff, but could be because i go in there 3/4 times a week. Good beer if a little expensive. I can understand the comments about the state of the tables, but it is only a place to wait for a train and have a pint, its not a wedding venue! Expensive though!
