I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had a fabulous time. The decor is very chic and sets a lovely intimate atmosphere. The food was divine and the cocktails were delicious. Highly recommend the arancini balls, lobster and Muay Thai cocktail. Can't wait to come again and try a few more dishes!

Went in the other night found out it was steak night! My partner and I both had steaks and a bottle of wine. Not only was the food excellent, the price was very reasonable as well. Service was amazing and really completed the whole experience. Highly recommend, will definitely be back soon!

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon, first people through the door and welcomed with our choice of the tables and felt very comfortable. The restaurant has had a recent facelift which looks great and is a really nice space to be in. Went in for the lunch time offer but decided on the ‘surf & turf’ sharing option which was spot on. More than enough food which was perfectly cooked and the wine recommendation complimented the food. All in all a relaxed atmosphere, great service and food was 👌 Looking forward to going back.

I don't usually shop on Gloucester Road but today I had a go as wanted to get to the fish shop. I spotted this place on my way to so decided to give it a try on my way back for lunch . It was quiet so perfect as I really don't like crowded places. Comes with the age I think. They have a great lunch set menu for £17.95 for two courses. The wine list is good and their pinot rose was perfectly chilled and crisp. The cleanliness standard stroke me. The cleanest and most sparkling glasses I have seen in a long while. The music playlist was beaut and just perfect 👌. Fresh mussels beautifully cooked and a generous portion of smoked salmon risotto. Worth skipping the regular places in the centre and defo a place to go out for a date or with friends. Evenings are packed so worth booking or just try the quieter times instead.

The seafood platter 🦞 was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. My partner had the Surf and Turf. Would highly recommend, have had so many likes/loves since I posted my food photos on FB. I cannot wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. I really liked the fish trolley, nice touch😁

Our first visit to Palomar, very intrigued by the menu. We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but a table was available. My partner was determined to have the seafood platter, meant for 2 but she was sure she could eat it all. I ordered the surf and turf with white bait. We were both impressed when they arrived on large chopping boards. I dived in to mine, I did find the white bait a bit too salty but the steak was very tender. My partner fully enjoyed her platter and did finish it completely. Service was very good, not rushed at all. I must say also the music playing in the background was superb and added to the relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.

5 stars all around. The decor is very welcoming and tasteful, and the tables were all laid out well to give space in what is quite a small restaurant. We were pleased with the portion sizes, as our starter plates were loaded to the brim with fresh fish that was well seasoned and appropriately garnished. We were impressed how promptly the food came out of the kitchen after we had ordered, on what seemed like a fairly busy dinner time for a Sunday. We chose the seafood platter, which turned out to be the perfect size for two of us, and we were left with just enough room for desserts, which were once again a very generous portion, and very delicious. Thanks to all the staff, including Alex the barman who made us some very delicious cocktails.

Excellent dinner, great service and location. Proper selection of fresh fish, nicely prepared and presented. Really liked the Thai flavours on the mussels starter, then went for catch of the day and shared a large turbot which was superb. Can't comment on pricing compared to other local options, but seemed fairly priced and I reckon at least 30% below London standards. Definitely recommended.

Been here a number of times before- was back for Sunday lunch .A very empty restaurant as only table for most of the meal. The oysters was good - with the frozen watermelon which was not as sweet as it was in summer- perhaps not best combination for winter. Calamari tempura was good as was the fish mains-Pan fried Cornish sole. The accompanying tomato and olive sauce was rather simple and tasted like it was can of tomatoes with olives out of a bottle. The prawn starters was rather disappointing as it wasn’t the best quality prawns and lacks the umph from it. Otherwise a good fish place- had better meals here in the past.
