Casa Nostra

This place is an absolute gem. Had the pleasure of dining with my local family when visiting from Australia. The owner took her time to introduce herself to us and each and every subsequent table that came in, also explained the food. Food was absolutely delicious, proper home cooking and we couldn’t fault it. The waiter took the time to help us decide on what dishes to choose. After we had eaten the owner came back out to make sure we had enjoyed it. Thank you very much for the chat, the food and the great service.

We only found this on our last night in Devon, we had no reservation but they welcomed us in, shifted some tables around and made us feel really welcome, even interacting with our 3 year old as munched his way through the spaghetti. The food was lovely, the service great, will defo be returning! Thanks to everyone for the fab dinner

The food and service was absolutely amazing!! Visited over 2 weeks ago with my dad and son and we all absolutely loved this restaurant. Staff are so friendly from the moment you walk in the door. The food was honestly un-believable- I had never really had seafood before. I opted for the mussels on the specials menu and safe to say it was delicious! The children’s menu had a good selection (not just the typical nuggets and chips like most other restaurants). My son who is auHD demolished the food on his plate and was at ease the whole time because the atmosphere was so calm and staff was amazing with him. The chef came out to greet customers at each table to make sure they was happy with the food, we never got this type of service at any other restaurant during our stay in Brixham. We loved the whole experience so much that we came back again on our final night during our holiday and once again, blown away by the whole experience. We chose to take our visiting Kiwi friends to Casa Nostra because we had had such an enjoyable time there previously. Once again the food was fantastic and our friends were equally impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were and how great the food was. Definitely worth a visit and definitely a firm favourite with me for sharing with our visitors!

Our first visit to Casa Nostra this evening. We pre booked a few days earlier and we're glad we did as it's obviously a very popular place. The service was fab, very polite and attentive staff with lots of information about Gluten Free dishes which is what we needed. The food was delicious too, we ordered 3 pasta dishes and 1 pizza and they were all very tasty and filling. Tiramisu and profiteroles and gluten free ice cream also very good. Really pleased we came here for our last meal out in Brixham before heading home in the morning. Would totally recommend to everyone.

A lovely family run (can't beat them) restaurant. I was visiting the area and wanted to get away from the Fish and Chip places around. Didn't really want a pizza but was happily advised of the specials, which I took advantage of the seafood based starter and main course. I'm so glad I did. Amazing food + great service from start to finish. Highly recommend

What a lovely family and restaurant! Me and my mum had quite a few food nightmares since arriving in brixham but this place pretty much saved the holiday. The service is immaculate and you’re always greeted with a warm smile. They really do go the extra mile with the service and the waiter and son who works in the front of house are so sweet! Food is proper authentic Italian and is the real deal. Me and my mum are fussy eaters too and couldn’t fault the food whatsoever. I’m fact, it was that good we came back again a couple of days later. It’s just a shame as I wish that I lived closer so I could eat here more often. Would also recommend the carbonara in particular! P.s (Sorry I couldn’t visit for one last time before leaving or leave a note through the door, it was too rainy to go to the berry head hotel so I didn’t get to try anything!)
