First off, I didn't book as I'm travelling alone on this occasion, but they very happily found me a table! Service from both the waiters and owner was excellent. Very attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing! High quality ingredients and not massive portions which meant I managed 3 courses. I initially thought when I read the menu that there seemed to be too many components to each dish, but everything worked sublimely. I'll be sure to come back here on my next visit to the island!

Don't be put off by the vintage whitewash exterior: this restaurant is superb, with friendly attentive staff, food and drink to die for and first class service. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with cocktails available and a huge and well stocked wine list. A feature of first class food, is that it leaves the diner just wanting that extra mouthful. This is certainly the case at Brodick Brasserie. Exquisitely cooked seafood and local meat left me wanting more. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and salmon was superb. We'll definitely return next time we're on Arran, we'll definitely. Thankyou!

We had a fantastic meal here!!! Booked based on reviews and it easily surpassed the already high expectations. All staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home and Sam was brilliant. The food was treated so well and cooked perfectly. The fish and shellfish were sweet and firm, the beef tender and well seasoned. The gravy with the fillet steak smelt like a mini roast dinner on its own. The elderflower pud was fantastic as was the white chocolate number. Be warned the house espresso martini is dangerous :). Thank you for such a delicious and welcoming night.

We'd booked for a meal on Thursday evening. Although quiet we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We chose the a la carte menu and all 3 courses were nothing short of amazing. We've been to many places to eat over the years and this is up there with the best of them. Being a caeliac the chef ticked all the dishes that didn't contain gluten but still have me a good selection and the dishes I was going to order anyway. The service was friendly and attentive and knowledgeable. An excellent selection of drinks including some excellent wine offerings. Overall a great experience and highly recommend. Compliments to the chef.

We enjoyed a really excellent tasting menu that was part of the Arran Food and Drink Festival. We were really very impressed by the level of cooking - and from such a young chef! The atmosphere, music, decor and friendly service were all fine but not up to the same level you'd expect for fine dining to match the standard of the food. However, from what I could tell, the chef seems to have taken over a previous establishment and has no doubt inherited their decor etc. I hope the rest catches up to the level of the cooking to complete the experience. I would go back for sure regardless.

We ate at this restaurant last weekend. The 4 of us had a wonderful tasting menu with great service. The menu was superb with great wine pairing. The menu got better as the courses progressed. The crumpet, the halibut, the duck & dessert courses were all wonderful. The service and attention to detail were excellent. Grant clearly explained every course and Grahame explained the wines brilliantly. Highly recommended and the best place for dinner on the island.

Externally quite unassuming, but once you're greeted by the friendly staff and see the menu, you're in for quite a surprise. The Spring Lunch menu offered an amazing and professional selection of fantastic food. Our dog was also warmly welcomed into the bar area where the same menu as the restaurant is served. Highly recommended to seek this place out.

We dined here on the Taster Menu with wine flights whilst on our honeymoon. What a treat! Every course was exquisite both in taste and appearance and the wine pairings were spot on. Staff were very attentive and the chef even came over afterwards to hear our thoughts on his new menu - unbelievably, he is only 20 years old - a talent to be watched! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we hope they get their Michelin star soon. Our only feedback would be that it seemed a bit out of kilter that we could see through an archway to the bar next door which had a sports TV on the wall - it didn't seem quite in keeping with fine dining - we'd recommend at least putting in a door, to improve the ambience in the restaurant. Otherwise, it was perfect!

What a great restaurant! We had the 6 course tasting menu (bear in mind when looking at the pictures) complimented with the wine flight. It bumps up the price but having a different wine chosen to suit each course makes it a worthwhile treat. Each dish was delicious and presented well by Grant, our friendly young waiter. Graham (owner) offered to talk us through each wine choice and was clearly proud of all his staff. Restaurant atmosphere was on the quiet side in February, although that suited us and the background music was just right. Tough choice but for both of us the standout course was the red deer with black garlic, sauce Grand Veneur and passion fruit curd.

We had dinner at Brodick Bar, right next to the Brasserie. Delicious food to re-energise after hiking up Goatfell mountain!
