We had a very warm welcome and were seated straight away. Nice menu and very reasonable priced. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. We shared a starter (stilton mushrooms and freshly cooked bread, very nice) and both had roast beef with a side of cauliflower cheese, plenty of gravy and horseradish sauce. The food was amazing, the service was attentive, we both enjoyed our Sunday lunches, probably the best roast I've had in a long time. I would definitely recommend going here to anyone I know.

Nice little pub,wasn't too busy when visited ,didn't eat so can't comment on food range or availability, did seem to run out of non alcohol bottle beer (saturaday early evening) - which is odd considering the only way to visit would be by car due to location, slightly set back from road so could be easily missed .seemed to have a nice garden area to side of pub .

The food was generally very nice, not sure red cabbage belongs on a roast, but maybe that's just me, the spuds were a little firm, but the rest of the food was incredible, perfect beef & pork, with fantastic crackling.
The decor, although clean was a little plain and lacked character, the 2 staff members that served us were very friendly and attentive.
We would visit again.

Had our first lunch from the festive menu today the braised beef was to die for, so tender absolutely perfection such a lovely warm cosy atmosphere love that our small dog was welcome too Thank you ,we will return soon 😊
