All you can eat breakfast for 9.99 with tea and coffee the food was fresh and hot and very tasty,toater on the side with option of white or brown bread also pancakes to to pop in the toaster tou can chose to have a continental breakfast there are fresh baked pastries avaliable to it gets busy so id book in advance online to guarantee a place
Good food. Free pop refills. Tables are wonky so don't place your glasses near to an edge or they will slide off 😅 Very friendly service. Fish was a bit hard to cut through the batter. Burger was delicious. Also had ribs which were good. Love the chunky chips.
Went for a birthday party. Children menus were good value for money. Very clean premises, clean toilets. Spacious. Reserved table was ready when we arrived.
Food was very good, freshly cooked. Modern kitchen.
Service was a bit slow, burgers were sitting for solid 5 min and no one was picking them up to serve them (I sat in front of the kitchen). There were missing ingredients/specific dishes (no caprisun, no pancakes, no nachos, no cream).
Overall very recommendable
I am a regular visitor to the beefeater and have been visiting since it's launch. The restaurant and menu have seen several changes since it's opening and despite this has always maintained a very good standard of well cooked dishes which represent good value for money especially if you make use of their money off vouchers. There is a varied food choice and their desert menu has recently been enhanced. I'm a big fan of the mixed grill. Sadly though I never seem to have made enough room for desert as the main courses are filling.

Weve been coming here since it opened (years). When it first opened, we loved everything. In recent years, we felt the food quality and consistency of cooking had been deteriorating (e.g. medium rare steak being well done and chewy with gristle and a kids pasta being filled with water). It got so poor, in our opinion, that we significantly decreased our visits. It should be said that, during this time, the service from staff has always been great with only one exception.
Now for tonight.... wow.
It started great with the usual friendly greeting and service. The waitresses got straight to work on making our little girls feel welcomed and special. Our selected waitress served us with a smile despite being in clear pain from a bad back. Kudos to her for that. Mid way through our meal, she was replaced with a young kindly lad who continued the great service. Well done to front of house.
On to the food... what an amazing turnaround. Every item, right down to the children's meals, were cooked to perfection. I loved my steak. Perfect medium rare. The prawns were significantly upgraded the skinny fries and sweet potato fries all fantastic.
Amazing experience and good value. Well done to all the team, long may it continue.

Under new management apparently. We got there for 5.30pm. So we did not have to wait too long. It got very busy quickly. The 3 (young) serving staff worked very hard. The woman walking about clapping her hands and saying "come on" didn't seem to do anything else! Food was mostly good. Not impressed with the starter's my grandfather's had. From the kid's menu, they had a couple of bits of carrot, red pepper cucumber with a tiny, tiny dish of dip. This is not Marco Pierre White's new restaurant you know. Staff were very helpful and overworked. Get more staff you cheapskates!

We went to the acorn on Friday night a large group of (14) us celebrating a family members birthday. After reading some of the reviews we was a bit Sceptical, but we had a wonderful experience our servicer was brilliant and copped so well especially as there was so many of us he made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and delicious definitely value for money, we will definitely be coming back

Came to eat tonight. Service was fantastic taken to our table and offered drinks straight away. Our waitress Christina dealt with my dietary requirements and her suggestion of the Chicken tower was a great choice. One of the nicest things I’ve eaten in ages. Will come again.
