Pascal At The Old Vicarage

Yes, really rather nice…. (As always) If you read my other reviews I am fussy…. Follow up… Been back again this weekend for my wife’s birthday treat and it was just as nice…. It is one of the best places to go for a nice meal in the area, the service is excellent and while not cheap it is excellent value.

Amazing food and great service. We really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back as we are just locals around. Every detail we’re amazing, from the ambiance to the menu and staff. One thing we noticed though is that the staff are keen to get us out but we understand as it’s quite busy but I still I highly recommend this place!

Our first meal out since lockdown....we felt very safe. We were shown straight to our table, we were asked what drinks we would like and we decided on wine and a non alcoholic drink (for the driver 😆) the wine list was produced along with the food menus. We chose a bottle of Voigner and we chose off the 'table d'hote menu. The food was absolutely gorgeous. On booking I had mentioned it was my mums birthday and for her dessert she had her dessert on a "happy birthday" plate!!! Thank you Pascal, Mrs Pascal (sorry forgot her name) and Laura for a fabulous "first" meal out

Me and my wife went here for our anniversary, we didn't know much about the place as we travelled from Essex to spend a few days in the area, the welcome was warm and we were shown to the lounge, where we had cocktails whilst looking at the menu, we order from here too. When we were shown to our table the food arrived straight away. Which was outstanding, the bread and butter is a must. If we are in the area again we will be returning.
