Just Wow! My oven has broken, and has been for a few days so I've been relying on takeaways. If I'm honest I've had nothing but bad experiences. Tonight I ordered a bit late and noticed HCK. I never realised this place exists, but I'm glad I do now! Order arrived early which was a bonus, I had the chicken in black bean sauce with fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious! Portion sizes are very, very generous. The delivery driver was a great, friendly guy. I would give this place more stars if I could. I've finally found a reliable, friendly tasty Chinese takeaway. Will definitely be ordering again, just great! Well done guys.

1st time using and was very happy. I was a walk in customer on a Monday night, service was fast, under 10 mins from point of order to receiving food. Place looked very bright and clean, staff were friendly, helpful, patient and allowed me to alter my order shortly after placing. Food itself was super hot, cooked fresh Infront of you. Malaysian honey chix beautiful, ribs, mini but many and meaty. Mini spring rolls nice flavour very crispy. Fried rice was tasty. Overall value not bad, will definitely be visiting again! Thank you

These guys redefine the term fast-food. Macdonald's got nothing on them... if you like Chinese food that's even more true! The food is good, fast, decently priced and the place is clean. The only thing that gets me, and it's an issue that ALL fast-foods do, ask for extra sometime and you just doget it. Let's be specific: ask for more egg in the fried rice and lesve me a reply if you get it! But don't challenge them, just impromptu.... 4 stars for that, o mean -1star for it :)) By the way, when they say spicy... it's FU$&!* spicy, don't think it's a joke!

Some time ago after ordering from HCK I wrote a huge review about my experience, but I accidentally got I deleted, so I ended up leaving only the stars... but tonight I got the cutest reply and I had to take few minutes of my time to rewrite my review. Me and my boyfriend had our favorite Chinese place in Derby. We kept looking for one in Burton, but nothing was even tolerable, until these guys.... It starts off with the picture: the Chinese food the way you want it - in paper boxes. Then it follows to products: huge variety of choices for an amazing value. You can choose AS MANY AS YOU WANT for your box toppings. The sizes are exactly as they should be: if you want a small, you actually get a small for a hungry person😁 medium was enough for me for 1,5 times👍 and, obviously, the flavour: exactly what I've been looking. Food was cooked to perfection and I could tell it was made with love! Now about the staff: as we walked in all of the staff said hello and made some kind of contact with us. Person on the till was very helpful with making the right choice and was honest about crossovers that they felt were not made for each other (I have weird taste, so I asked for something unusual). Food was done very quickly and was piping hot till we got home and we had a short stop at the supermarket. I guess what I'm trying to say - thus place is amazing and I recommend it 100%
