We came here for a Friday evening meal with family and friends. The restaurant is located within 5min walk from Burton town centre. Although the facade is black and white, the colours on the inside are quite balmy and welcoming. The environment was quite cozy and decorated with thought. Decent distance between the tables.
We ordered quite a few Indian dishes to share amongst 5 of us. We ordered veggie and meat dishes. We had to wait for the mains but we liked this as it was nice to have a break. They were all AMAZING!
Huge credit to the chefs, front of the house and the owner. Everyone was passionate about what they do. We were so impressed with the service. Takeaways no doubt are cheaper but the price we pay is for the whole experience and we loved it. It wasn't too pricey either.
Its indeed a little hidden gem at Burton for authentic Indian dishes. We want to return some time soon and will deffo recommend.

This place is the real deal folks- great service, great location, friendly friendly staff, VERY quick delivery- and the curries are spot on! I only have to say that my one complaint in this whole area is that they use chicken breast instead of thighs - but that’s cause people don’t know why better- but hey I’ll go back - keep trying because they ready are good- and the lemon rice and coconut rice are gorgeous- I can go on and on!

8 years of takeaway from this gem and I've never had a bad experience. Drivers are always friendly, foods always hit, but most of all, the food is always superb. I'll always recommend this place over everywhere else 👍

Have just been for what is honestly the best curry I have had in a long time! The chicken korma was beautiful, the meat cooked perfectly and the naan bread was so beautiful, you cannot beat a freshly cooked dish in a lovely atmosphere. Ansar (apologies if I have spelt your name incorrectly) offered service with a smile and could recommend a dish purely on my dad describing what sort of thing he likes and as a result my dad now has a new favourite dish! Will absolutely be recommending people visit and will be coming back again very soon! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!

Recently went to Je Ja Jees for my birthday , wow the food was hot and delicious, the staff were lovely and the service was fast and friendly. We had such a lovely time and I was made to feel very special. Will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend.

Convenient parking, Excellent service, very pleasant staff and some of the best food in burton and derby area. We were planning on going to Birmingham for food but decided to stay closer to home and it was the best decision we made. Kids absolutely loved the food and asked if we could go back there again as we were driving home 🙈 tbh the price is almost 80% cheaper than some of the restaurants in derby with the same quality surrounding, food, service and ambience so i guess why not? 🤷♂️

Lovely food, good covid restrictions, and great beer.
They kindly sat us at a table in a corner away from the main transit. The dishes were lovely and the portions are very generous - we certainly took left overs home.
They kindly cooked some plain chicken for our daughter so she could enjoy her meal too.
We had been there a few times, and will go again :)

Another fantastic take away from this restaurant highly recommended.
Staff are always polite and go out of their way to make you dishes you want times are accurate for delivery.
