Superb food, with a gluten-free option, which is the same price as the main menu, unlike other places. Reasonably priced too.

The Fish Hut has a new person in place. He's a trained chef who said he'd worked with some Michelin starred chefs and mentioned Marco Pierre White ..TBC but it's possibly true as ....
1. My fish was cooked to order and tasted brilliant - really nice piece of cod 🤗 which looked as good as it tasted.
2. The batter was crisp and very tasty too.🤗
3. Wish I'd had some chips but just had fish that day but I'm sure they'd have been the same quality.😉
4. A steady flow of people / visitors to The Fish Hut so becoming more popular again as it used to be a couple of years ago.
The place was also clean & tidy and as it was a nice day I sat outside and used the tables & bench watching the world go by as I enjoyed my lunch.
I wish the new owner well who was also very friendly, and hope he's successful there as well. He's made a great start and I'm definitely calling again. Top quality fish 🐟 ... ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅

Been here before pre football match watching the mighty blades ( we lost 2-1 by the way) cannot fault the quality of the food. Absolutely spot on fish and chips. All i can say is get the brewers in the premiership so i can come back here. Fabulous

Just had fantastic GLUTEN FREE fish and chips from the Fish Hut! You can't even tell they are gluten free, family didn't notice. Nice crispy batter on the fish. Will definitely return. Shop was spotlessly clean, restaurant area at the back looked very clean and inviting. Service was good. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely love this fish and chips place. We always sit in restaurant bit to have our food...got lovely staff...good prices...great chips!!! Once you order your food you sit down and 5 mins later your food is brought to table..5 stars.

Great fish and chip shop, very reasonably priced with plenty of space to sit on the restaurant side if you fancy it!
Can get quite busy on match days before kick off so you may have to queue for a bit!

I eat from this chipshop all the time, the food is always spot on, the chips and curry sauce are the both, would rather drive here than go to my local. Staff are always happy and friendly. Lovely place to sit in and eat or takeaway. Definitely would recommend

Seen this place from the road many times and this time thought i would pull in and give them a go...best chippy ive ever been to...fantastic food and really good prices...friendly staff...will defanatly be paying them a vist again and again.
