Called last minute due to a let down at another establishment. We needed a table for 10 and they managed to get us in. Was a little slow at the bar when ordering drinks but it was a Friday night. We all ordered our food and it was lovely. Was a special night due to a celebration of life of a family member so was grateful they could accommodate us. Staff were great and after being let down The albion saved the night.

We booked a table for 7pm. After placing my order at the bar, I was told there would be a 40-45 minutes wait for food. When 50 minutes had passed, a waitress approached us and said there had been a problem with the printer, and our food was now being prepared. We were offered complimentary tea or coffee. The food arrived just over an hour after ordering. The food was fantastic, worth the wait.

Big, friendly pub with good food and drinks and a nice beer garden. Biggest drawback for me personally (and this seems to be getting more common these days) is why do the outside speakers have to be so loud? It's lovely to sit outside a pub for a drink with friends, but hate having to compete to get yourself heard 😕

Very pleasantly surprised by the standard of food and service ? The steaks we both had where really good and tasty ! Well worth a visit ! Back in and what a change ? New staff , new menu with table service ! Had the steak n scampi with a garlic n mushroom sauce ! Lush " see pic " great offers during the week ? Can't wait to go back . Great new revamp done with a must see menu , From dinner time till five in the evening they do a " two or three course menu " very cheaply priced . NO TWO FOR ONE anymore but they have a great new menu as well as the dinner time special ! Still great food and service

Food was tasty and very hot . Service was excellent . On my email I explained that my boyfriend and I were celebrating 6 months together and was there any way they could bring a cake out or something with happy anniversary on to surprise my boyfriend . The young lady that dealt with this was lovely. On arrival there was a paper on the table that said " Happy Anniversary " on then after we'd had our meal the young lady brought a slate out with 2 pieces of chocolate cake on and a small tub of ice cream and the slate had " Happy Anniversary " piped on it in chocolate sauce then sprinkled with icing sugar . I spoke to the young lady after she'd served it and she was telling me that she was trying to get the timing right for us because my boyfriend had passed the bar several times on his way to the toilets and she didn't want him to see , because that would have spoilt the surprise but she timed it perfectly . I looked for her on our way out to thank her but I couldn't see her . Unfortunately I didn't get her name but if you know who she is could you please thank her on my behalf . X

Ive been going here for many years, what is was then to what it is now, is 100% better. The food the atmosphere the service i can not fault it. The staff are all on top form. Louise,Holly Rachel niamh. Only to mention a few i will keep going back. Lovely place to be and enjoy your time here big thumbs up

We arrived for our booking a bit early & were soon shown to our table. It was quite busy at the bar but we were served our drinks without much delay. The same applied to our food which was served hot on hot plates, something that can spoil a meal if the plates are cold. We took advantage of the Thursday night Steak deal which was cooked to our requirements. At the end four empty plates said everything about the quality of the food. Thank you.
