Had a wonderful meal tonight. Chef even cooked a dish on request. Staff very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend

Went with a life-long friend to celebrate 40+ years friendship and had a lovely meal .. warm welcome .. helpful at tentative staff and excellent tasting food with so much choice. Beautifully presented … great temperature .. would have preferred longer between courses and it have staff take plates away so swiftly hence the 4 star review. We were aware of how long we had the table but we are literally there one hour and had 3 courses so be prepared for fast service!
Four of us went there tonight 12/01/23 for mothers birthday. The service from Jack was great, food was superb and prices were good. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Already planning when to go back again.
After three times here, I still think this is the best restaurant in Bury St Edmunds. The food, staff, and atmosphere are great.

First time visiting this restaurant after seeing it everywhere. The interior design and atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming.
Members of staff were quick to take us to our table and there’s such a big menu with a huge variety to choose from. It took us a while to decide what we wanted! Thank you for having us, we will definitely go to a Giggling Squid branch again.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is very tasty, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Emilie has been fantastic, pay a great attention to every one in a professional and kind manner, she assisted us in making a remarkable evening.
