The staff were friendly and the service was good.
We had dessert and coffee, so can't comment on starters and mains.
1. Apparently they didn't have any cold milk to make tea!?
2. The apple pie we ordered didn't look great, but fortunately tasted very nice.
3. I ordered it with ice-cream and it was served with three scoops of strawberry ice-cream on the side, which I thought was a little unusual, but tasted good nonetheless. 4. My coffee was good though.

We stopped off for a beer while visiting Caerleon recently.Very nice pub.Tidy decor.Friendly staff and atmosphere.We were suprised to find they had live music on a sunday early evening.The singer was excellent.We didnt realise it was live at first!Great job.Will def be back soon.

Great place for food and drinks. However if you want a quiet drink and food, this isn't the place. It's lively and atmospheric, full of uni students and very loud.

Good pub, decent atmosphere, decent prices. Outside and inside seating areas are comfortable. Staff and security are friendly. It's a popular bar.

With our visit to the Romain bath house and the Romain museum, we got ourselves a good meal at Ye Old Bull Inn.
I can't remember exactly what my husband and I ordered, but it were very well made burgers with delicious fries.
I gave the service 4 stars out of 5 because we hiked a lot that day and it wasn't easy to get up from the table and order our food at the bar. Other than that, lovely and friendly staff and a place to crash at.. 🤤👌

Good food. Good servers. They were very polite. Almost had the privilege of having a local who was very drunk fall on to me why we were eating at out table. I would consider going back if I’m in the area.
