With our visit to the Romain bath house and the Romain museum, we got ourselves a good meal at Ye Old Bull Inn.
I can't remember exactly what my husband and I ordered, but it were very well made burgers with delicious fries.
I gave the service 4 stars out of 5 because we hiked a lot that day and it wasn't easy to get up from the table and order our food at the bar. Other than that, lovely and friendly staff and a place to crash at.. 🤤👌
The staff were friendly and the service was good.
We had dessert and coffee, so can't comment on starters and mains.
1. Apparently they didn't have any cold milk to make tea!?
2. The apple pie we ordered didn't look great, but fortunately tasted very nice.
3. I ordered it with ice-cream and it was served with three scoops of strawberry ice-cream on the side, which I thought was a little unusual, but tasted good nonetheless. 4. My coffee was good though.
Staff are really friendly and helpful, food was fine but couldn't park in the disabled space because they were full of beer barrels
I had a brilliant evening during my visit. All staff were friendly, food was nice and service was quick. Taylor was especially accommodating

Hands down the best veggie breakfast I have ever had!! I went for the full which cost £10 or for only 1 of everything it was £7, so I went for the full and struggled to finish! Glamorgan sausage was defiantly home made as it was more of a tasty patty than a 'sausage' shape, but this didn't take away from how stunning it was!
Brunch is served till 1230
All the staff were lovely and friendly and the place was spotlessly clean.

My daughter and I were staying in Caerleon and decided to have a light meal, as it was a hot evening, at the Ye Olde Bull Inn. It was very busy but we were given a good table and the food came out quickly. I ordered steak & dirty fries and it was absolutely delicious. So much so my daughter who hadn't wanted meal decided to have a spare plate and promptly ate half of mine ! The steak was cooked to perfection and fries were very moorish. Would highly recommend the food here and for a very busy Saturday night the service and staff were amazing. We will be returning.

Food was Amazing, literally 10-15 minute wait, service was Superb, would definitely travel the 100 mile Round trip dor food here again!
Price was reasonable aswell!
Great place for food and drinks. However if you want a quiet drink and food, this isn't the place. It's lively and atmospheric, full of uni students and very loud.
Good food. Good servers. They were very polite. Almost had the privilege of having a local who was very drunk fall on to me why we were eating at out table. I would consider going back if I’m in the area.
