We popped by wanting a coffee (note - they're no longer open as a cafe), but the lovely owners let us in to have a look round the venue. It is absolutely beautiful inside with gorgeous views & a really cosy atmosphere. Would be perfect for a small wedding or function.

I pipe for many happy couples every year at Venahcar Lochside. I have always experienced a great atmosphere at every wedding that I am privileged to attend. We recently eloped at the lodges next to Loch Venachar and asked Venachar Lochside to sort our catering and hospitality for the day. I am soooo glad we did because WOW! Sue, Meghan and Nikki looked after us and all our suppliers all day, even doing the washing up and offering to light the wood fired hot tub. They supplied brunch (our suppliers said they were the best croissants they have ever had) plus our wedding breakfast and it was brilliant. Thank you so much ladies for making our special day even more special 🥂❤️

Lovely wee cafe, cakes are amazing and if you're lucky enough to sit outside you get a beautiful view of the loch. You can also hire boats here which is fun 😁

Went to the inaugural Boxing Day swim at Venacher Lochside. Great day out but bloomin cold. Hats off to the brave folks that went for a swim or even a paddle. Thanks to the venue for the coffee and rolls after the event. We’ll be back in the summer when it’s warmer

We found this little spot completely by accident. Coffee was first class.
The owner and his dogs, very friendly.
The black Lab will have you throw a stick into the lough for ever and a day. He's friendly and if I hadn't been on my bike, I'd have had him home. Lol.
Worth a stop
Beware the midges. Wear a hat and have the spray to hand.

Great venue and location. Stunning views. Great day for a wedding. Food and drink was very good. I reckon all guests really liked this place. Staff worked very hard too. My grandchildren loved the place. Ran riot outside in the good weather.

Food tasted great and the view by the lake is absolutely breathtaking. Recommend to go dinner during sunset.
The service is a bit slow for the size of the restaurant but the staff make up for their kindness.
