Great lunch spot. The heated pies are the best, however the sandwiches are also good if you are hungry. Quick service but not much room to eat, so consider walking down to the stream and eating.

Fabulous. If I had to name Callander's attractions Mhor Bakery would be definitely among them. Cosy, friendly, always busy. Rather high end but not overprised. Steak and haggis pie is my favourite but there are also fab sugary options like rhubarb ones. Do have a try. I like to eat those outside (bit bussy inside) but the space is very authentic and asking for a photo.

I stopped here on the way home from the west coast and I decided to get a sandwich for later in the journey and as we all know that leads into getting a pie then a Viennese whirl and a couple of fruit pies. The sandwich was that good I have started planning on going back, the pie was possibly the best I’ve had (bold statement some will say) and the rhubarb pie was other worldly. I’ve got the Apple pie left and her indoors has just devoured the Viennese in silence which is a glowing review in itself.

Favourite stop when going hiking and driving through. Sourdough is amazing. Love their sandwiches! Every single time!

The bread, scones, and cakes all looked amazing. We had the bakewell tarts they were delicious and yummy with a latte coffee. You won't be able to resist! We sat at the long table, which was OK, but we would have preferred separate tables. Take-away coffee cups with sugar cubes wrapped in plastic and wooden spoon! And paper bags for the cakes with wooden knives. It's not the most environmentally friendly. Really prefer crockery & steel cutlery, than the throw-away culture. We did like the artwork and unusual objects (as seen in the photos). Ps. We would like to suggest to the Mhor bakery to have something along the open space nearest to the door on the left-hand side, to stop dogs from putting their noses onto the bread, like what we had seen!!

I will start by saying, the food here is absolutley breathtaking. The pies are delicious as are all of their fresh baked goods. They have a great variety and everything is fresh and amazing. Most of the waitors are very friendly and seem very happy and interested in their job however there are two who seemed a bit moody and disinterested hence the 4 instead of 5 star for service. The atmosphere is okay, the decor is good with a nice healthy balance and a warm, welcoming feel however they do have some modern interpretations of great art pieces which have been ruined with the modern input. It is also quite crammed with two rooms. One for eating and one for ordering. The eating room only has i think four tables. 3 of which sit three people and the other is one very large long table which would sit many a large family. Then there is a big table in the centre with things they have for sale on it, this makes the room feel very very tight and uncomfortable. The other room is very small and so when waiting in queue it tends to be packed and uncomfortable as you have to squeeze into people to let others in or out. The queues here represent the quality of their food. They are HUGE with them often going out of the door but these queues in such a small, stuffy shop tend to assist greatly in the crammy feeling.

Best croissant in my life. Fluffy buttery goodness with a flaky skin. Cherry pie - cherry flavours strong yet not overwhelmingly sweet. Perfect balance. I'd come back to Scotland for this!! I want more.
