A fantastic family-owned place, one of the best in Cambridge! Great coffee and food, art displayed around, and hand-made pottery used. Even though space is not very large, they host a lot of amazing events - music, Science talks, Arts and charity evenings. Thank you, John and the rest of staff, for your hospitality! :)
Fab 'afternoon tea' here today for 12. Adam and his team were wonderful and accommodating setting the tables right across the upstairs. Superb cakes,(brownies, lemon drizzle, almond slice and pastel de nata) good tea and coffee and lovely to sit among the paintings - a great tea party!
Really nice place for brunch. Outdoor seating also available if weather permits. We visited and sat inside. The food was fine. A bit too much reliance on sun dried tomatoes. Really nice ambience and staff.
Lovely coffee and food. Outdoor eating and great service. Will definitely be back and would recommend. Can get pretty busy though, especially inside so be warned (lots of lovely sunny outdoor seating though). Also dog friendly. 🐕👍
Excellent. Smashed avocado on toast with poached egg is by the far best that i have in Cambridge. Coffee is also 👍. Service is friendly and cheerful. Just what i want to start my day.
Nice little caffe in Cambridge! Has a lovely internal balcony and it was very quiet which is refreshing! The pancake was great and the service was super nice too. Staff was super friendly!
Really good Coffee and super friendly and helpful staff. Dogs are allowed, they have a small rooftop terrace as well as outdoor seating. They offer vegetarian and vegan Options.
Tip top brunch. The best in Cambridge IMO. He sourdough bread is incredible, very fresh. Food delivered hot to table (difficult considering how many tables they were turning over!! ) very impressive. Coffee also great. Will be back for more.
Great little independent cafe.
Visited here whilst waiting for car to be serviced. Coffee was strong and good, food was fresh and well presented.
Inside was a little grubby to be honest and could do with a good scrub but quite common in little cafes with a lot of wood.
Would visit again 👍
A brilliant place in Cambridge. Their house brew cast iron coffee was absolutely banging!! The taste of the pastries were really fresh and smelling really good. The taste was mind-blowing. The orange cake was also really good.
I can't wait to visit the place again. Big kudos to the friendly staff and amazing bakers in the restaurant.
Expertly brewed specialty coffee.
They have oat milk alternatives from Oatly which I found to be the standard these days as it adds a rich creamy texture to the coffee and the flavour is quite neutral so that it's not overpowering the coffee flavours.
Good place for third-wave coffee with indoor and outdoor seating across the road. Nice selection of guest coffees including Girls Who Grind and La Cabra. A popular spot, so hard to get a table on the weekends. Cakes and food looked great too and location is slightly off the beaten track which helps in the more touristy season
