Really good food, large portions, quiet because of the location. Authentic tasting food with some modern touches to the menu.

Whilst visiting Cambridge, we decided to stop for dinner at the Gourmet House (previously Mee & I).
We were welcomed very warmly by a couple of charming people who sat us down by the window and brought us a glass of water, which was a simple but nice touch.
We then ordered the sesame prawns, the salt & pepper squid as well as some pork gyozas for starters and a Malaysian seafood Laksa and the Spicy seafood wok noodles for our main along with some Pak Choi in garlic sauce.
EVERYTHING was spot on. We asked for some extra chilli and were given some delicious homemade chilli oil which was great.
The service was prompt and pleasant, the food amazing and we tried two of the Elderflower ciders (made from apples picked in the area) which were also amazing.
We shall come back the second we set foot again in Cambridge.

Food here was lovely. Came here for a lunch with some work colleagues. They were very helpful with dietary needs and were happy to show us certification for certain things. The staff were fantastic. There is a great selection of different food as long as you like Asian food! Will definitely be coming back here.

The successor of the legendary Dojo which closed in 2013. You can probably find the best south east Asia food here. The laksa is great. Portion of food is very generous and the price is relatively low for Cambridge standard. Location is slightly off-centre which may explain why they are less popular now days.
