Service was slow. We booked in advance, all ordered steaks, it was busy, so I get it, but over an hour and 15 minutes til we got our food, it's a bit of a long wait. The food, however, was very good. The service was great, but the 10% service charge we were less inclined to tip. It's a small building, so ita little cramped.

We was here at last min so no pre booking was really needed, we asked for roast dinner to see the portions like kids portions, 2 bites of lamb and couple of vegetables who came to share with the other 2 so not enough, restaurant looked like needs a deep clean, looked poorly managed and needs an immediate uplift at least clean. Customer service was great, drinks came fast so did the food, the cakes were generous portions and very tasty. Bill was high for the average roast dinner and service was also added in the bill which was 10% of the bill amount.

This place is a really nice place to eat in the centre of Cambridge. There were twelve of us who went. Our waiter was amazing and we didn't have to want for anything. Constantly asking if we wanted drinks and even rembered all of our previous drink choices. Food was amazing! Lots of different options and cooked to perfection. One thing I would note, however, they like to charge for lime and lemonade on top of paying for a pint of beer (tops and Shandy's) which is contravention of licencing laws. However the waiter quickly amended the bill when advised. Apart from that everything else was perfect and I would definitely go here again!

Absolutely fantastic! Eight of us went for an evening meal the night before my son got married(3rd July)The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. We had a late arrival half an hour before closing but the lady, who put the 'e' in efficient, still fetched him an ice cream and beer. If we lived closer we would certainly go again...and again. Thank you for a lovely evening. Would highly recommend.

Just up from the Tesla showroom in the Grand Arcade (picture for illustrative, drooling purposes only) there's Middletons. Mids, for short. It's touristy elegant with comfortable seating and a whackingly good and inexpensive lunch or later. Spanish mixed grill a spicy wonder, the rump steak cooked to perfection with some weirdly huge steak knives. None the more for that, it's well worth a visit!

We visited the Cambridge branch yesterday on the off chance they could accommodate a party of 6 on a Saturday evening. No problem, we were seated straight away and a lovely young girl came to look after us. I thought at first she was going to be very over bearing but no, she got it just right. The food was delivered in a reasonable time and was good. The young girl asked if it was birthday party and was told that it was my wife's graduation day, and at the end of the meal she brought out an enormous platter that had been made for her with the word 'congratulations' spelt out in chocolate with some lovely pieces of chocolate added. It actually made my wife cry with joy at such a thoughtful gesture. All in all it was a lovely evening made nice by a lovely hostess (you know who you are), good food and a wonderful gesture at the end. THANK YOU.
