Ordered the Greek salad and Chicken cacciatore for dinner. Portions were large and the food tasted very good. The interior / ambiance needed to be enhanced for a 5-star rating. There were bright spotlights in places but overall it just seemed a little dark because the light was not distributed uniformly to soften the atmosphere at the restaurant.

The pasta looked really good but flavor wise could be way better! It tasted a little bland and so did the chicken tenders. Presentation was perfect for the pasta and the chicken tenders were a little tough and flavorless. overall wasn’t bad but could definitely be better!

What a wonderful place! Our first time to try this great little restaurant tucked away in a Cambridge neighborhood. Lots of choices for pasta dishes with 4 different types of homemade pasta. We ordered the Chicken Parmiggiana and the Chicken Cacciatore on penne. Truly appreciate the extra large portions of each dish. There was quite a bit of take out business. Folks ordered lots of pasta dishes as well as pizzas. Such a wonderful place. You will also enjoy the food and the experience at Basta Pasta.

Man I remember coming here when I just moved to Cambridge for a summer job and lived literally across the street in 2005. It was probably my first meal after stepping off the plane and setting down my bag. The place had just been opened. Very fond memories of this place - excellent food (or what I could tell as a young man at the time). Great people - I hope it’s the same owners, they were two Albanian brothers if I remember. Glad to see that they are still in business.

Took this food takeout. Have to say that I enjoyed the quality and the portions. Got the chicken parmesan and some steamed broccoli. Chicken parmesan was very tasty, but the pasta surrounding it needed a but more salt and savoriness to it. I felt that the chicken was doing most of the work for this dish.
The steamed broccoli was ok, but definitely needed some flavoring to it. Steamed lemon broccoli isn't the most appetizing.

Basta Pasta is a wonderful lowkey pasta place in Cambridge! They serve so many varieties of pasta and pizza and the serve it in less than 10 minutes which is so quick. We got the chicken and broccoli, chicken parm and pasts bolognese and everything tasted great. You have to check it out if you live in the area!

Love this place! Best pizza in the area! I love the Margherita pizza and the pesto chicken pizza is amazing as well! You can’t go wrong ordering here. They make pizza the way pizza should be made, the crust is both hard and soft where it should be, the sauces are perfect, and the cheese is always real mozzarella. You will have trouble deciding which pie to try again next time!

Fast and pocket friendly takeout. They have a cute little outlet which currently doesn’t do dine-in. They were generous enough to let me order my takeout just 10 mins before closing time. The tomato cheese ravioli is by far the best I’ve had in and around Boston. Tiramisu was splendid and you can tell that it’s made well. Definitely recommend ordering from Basta Pasta.
