Absolutely love this establishment and location. The server and staff are always so friendly! Food is always consistent and so tasty and very reasonably priced! Always come to this location and does not disappoint at all. Recommend!!!

Came here for a Saturday lunch.
3 for service - they are good to some particular customers and too busy for some others others. It takes some relationship and luck to be served well.
4.5 for food - decent sushi, nice decoration, still a little to go until perfect (some of the rolls fell apart when picked up by chopsticks).
5 for location - within walkable distance from the T and with parking lot.
3.5 for environment - a little tight especially when crowded.
3.5 for value - a little pricy overall

Good quality sushi, etc at decent prices. Small place with about 14 tables... Food is prepared well and the noodles are served very hot while tempura is light and delightful. Good stop over place at the end of a long day without a lot of complications.

The taste is superrrr terrible. The worst Japanese food I’ve tried and in USA. The cooking oil also bad, got sore throat after eating here.

One of the best sushi restaurants in town. My friends are vegetarian and genki ya has the best menu for vegetarian sushi roll. They have another location in Boston and it has really good drinks too. They have a lunch special where they serve you complimentary salad and miso soup. The staff is very friendly too.

Great sushi, good vibe, quick and friendly server! Take a risk on the ume shiso roll - very fun bright counterpoint to the unctuous cozy fish flavors.

Very tasty and fast! Tonight, we tried the classics: Alaskan roll, shrimp tempura, yellow tail roll, and pickled mackerel. They were all super fresh and delicious! I also liked that the whole menu was picture- based. We are definitely coming back for more!
