Staff was friendly. Ramen was great. Service was a little slow but due to busy time. Surprised to see the ones in U.K have a bad rep.

They don't always have my favorite meals, but most things are good here. Their mixed drink menu disappeared in the past couple of years, but they have some good staple beers. As long as you're comfortable with the wide-open sometimes-communal seating arrangements, this is a great spot to visit once in a while.

This is a nice space with an interesting menu. Unfortunately a lot of the food is unexpectedly greasy or salty. I think the strengths here are the fresh juices and the ramen. Good for vegetarian options (you can sub tofu in most of the dishes) and I recommend the cheesecake as well.

I had heard mixed reviews about this place.I came here for a cheap quick dinner one night. There was a wait but it wasn't terrible. The ramen I got was okay, was missing some flavors but for what it is, I guess it's fine. I don't think I'll come back but if I do I would definitely try something else. The tables are communal which I don't mind, but some people might.

I am always disappointed with what I order here. The service isn't that great. I blame the company mostly...The noodle and soup dishes aren't that flavorful and I had a terrible experience with some salmon dish. It is located in a nice space overlooking harvard square area. The prices are kind of high too. I will leave this chain behind for something yummy and more authentic

I ordered a beef ramen and it was the worst ramen I have ever had. The noodle soup had no taste and the beef no taste too. The beef was hard to chew too. A ramen and a coke cost me 20 dollar. But the waitress was nice. All waiters and waitresses are westerners. Not a real Japanese restaurant at all, though they say they are!

I've been here twice - both about an hour before closing. Not surprisingly, service was relatively quick as the restaurant is only about 10% at capacity during that time.
Both times I've found the service to be kind of weird. The first time our waitress was overly fake to the point of being comical. The second time our waiter was more "real" but something was still a bit off. I would give this Wagamama 3.5 stars in service for at least trying.
Food-wise, I had the Yaki Soba - teppan-fried wheat noodles with a heaping of chicken, shrimp, egg, and a bunch of other goodies. I also had the Pad Thai. Both plates were decent portion sizes for normal folks who are not me (I eat quite a bit, so I'll be honest and say I was still hungry after both meals).
I will be back because it's convenient, food is decent, and service is quick during my dinner hours.

Consistent and good East Asian style noodle and rice dishes.
This is a big favorite of my family. There are lots of vegetarian options on the menu (marked with a V). Service is generally good, but the system of marking the dish you ordered on the placemat just about never works and the runners end up auctioning the food ("who ordered the side of white rice?"). You're just about always promptly greeted and seated. The tables appear to be large communal style, but the benches are separated, so you do have your personal space. ;-)
The gyoza and edamame are good. My personal favorite is the Yasai Itame, a noodle dish with a coconut milk based broth.
I was quite impressed by the store's treatment of food allergies. The server proactively asked if anyone had an allergy. She talked to my wife about her sesame allergy, made sure to order it w/out any of the allergens, and the runner who brought the food was careful to deliver the sesame free dish to the right person. Evidence of very solid training of the waitstaff.
The store is generally quite wheelchair accessible -- the building has a very good ramp, though the doors are manually opened.
The bathroom is always clean. The dining room can get quite loud at times. The open kitchen always looks spotless.
I've gone to several of Wagamama locations in Massachusetts and there's an incredible consistency from store to store. The dishes taste and look the same and the waitstaff generally all follow the corporate standards. It's a company that clearly places importance on training. In some ways, this makes the occasional longish wait for the check difficult to excuse.
Overall a very well run restaurant chain. This store is no exception.
