Bon Me

They made me cry, I'm warning you all, don't come here! The staff were lazy and rude. When I tried to get service they tried to ignore me. And when I finally get their attention they make me feel stupid and selfish for wanting to order food. When I said I wanted to order 5 sandwiches and 10 bowls for a party back home, and they just laughed in my face and told me they won't take my order because its too much work. They clearly hate their customers. There was no line/traffic. I was the only customer present. They said they would serve me just only one item. After waiting 30mins while the staff snickered and talk rudely about me with each other on front of me I finally was able to get my food. I was crying silently and they they laughed and tried to discreetly take photos of me crying when they thought I wasn't looking. I went home immediately clearly upset. No one stood up for me. The sandwich had little flavor and dry. If you don't want to be bullied and socially isolated please DO NOT spend your money here.

I had the Namesake bahn me in the truck, the bread was good. But the sandwich had very mild flavors. Like food without seasoning. The pork is not great and the vegetables were not cut as small as they should have. They really need to make a mix of more flavorfull proteins, better sauces and and improve preparation of vegetables, far from being a good bahn mi or sandwich

Service is terrible. There were no other customers there, but the two people behind the counter still basically refused to help me order a non-pork meal using the self -service check out thing. I wanted to know what proteins I could substitute and they just kept saying any without telling me what the options were which was not clearly listed anywhere. I just went with tofu. After this entire engagement they did not look at my order closely enough to make it without pork the first time and had to make it again, throwing the pork version in the trash.

Who knew that student dining could be delicious! I tried the bahn mi & spicy ginger lemonade and had to continually remind myself I was in public. The sandwich was so delicious I picked every piece of meat, carrot, sauce that fell from the sandwich to eat it. The lemonade was sharp & spicy, a great & unusual combination and very satisfying on a muggy day.
