We reserved a table for 8:45 pm, but when we got there, two waitresses asked us to order quickly because the kitchen closed at 9. They even asked us if we wanted to order dessert in advanced, even before we had ordered the entrees. Why would you allow reservations so close to the time the kitchen closes??? We had to order everything in haste. The duck confit was excellent. However, the entrees, a cider pork and a monk fish were just mild, boring. The carrots and potatos in both dishes were partly raw, hard to eat, really. On to our this, it was all expensive. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our waitress asked us if we wanted to put in a drink order only a minute or two after sitting down, so by the time she came back, we ordered two drinks, an appetizer and two entrees all at once The French onion soup came out first and was delicious. The two drinks came a few minutes after the app came and were also quite delicious. However, after that, it took a really really long time to get our entrees. I had the duck and my partner had the steak frites. My duck was very fibrous so it was very difficult to cut. Every piece required quite a bit of work to get through. There was almost no sauce on the plate so while fatty, left a bit to be desired. The steak was fine, but nothing to write home about. We had one more drink after the entrees came because it took that long that my partner finished his first one already. I would've ordered another drink, but was put off that another table of 3 got all of their dishes after sitting down only after we got our entrees. While the food was all right, I would not come here again or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was good, but pricey. ($14 just for a small bowl of French onion soup, for example). It is Boston, and the restaurant is a bit on the fancy side, so I wasn't surprised by this. They don't give you paper menus, you have to scan a QR code for that, which they don't tell you when you sit down. We waited for a while before realizing it.

We came in 2nd time, because we enjoyed the food and service the first time here. Unfortunately, we were treated EXTREMELY terribly because of the hostess. She was very rude, basically ignoring whatever we were asking for. And to some extent, I would say, I can sense the racism from her face and her ignorant behavior. As one example, we asked if we can sit outside in the nice weather, and she said we have to have “outdoor reservations”, but she then moved all the guests outside who came in later than us and originally sit indoor.

Great food, great ambience, great patio and great waiters. We had a very pleasant experience. We tried different appetizers, different main dishes and different desserts and all were excellent. 100% recommend.

Food was prepped and cooked well, and flavors were good. However, food is only a fraction of the dining experience. The cocktails were terrible...either tasted too strongly of cheap liquor or not even remotely enough liquor. Service was something to be desired...not the warmest set of staff for such a good looking restaurant. Folks were inattentive, blasé, and just in general didn't seem like they cared too much for the patrons. Definitely expected more, which may have been my own mistake. I'd say do a take out and skip the dining in experience here.

Love this place. It was the only restaurant that was openned on Christmas around my house. Foods were delicious. The interior was nice, and photogenic. This is a perfect meeting up Place. There is a nice bar here. Come check it out.
