The service was utterly unorganized during the noon peak hour, as various orders rushed in and the cashier had a hard time associating orders with corresponding customers (yes, they did not call numbers). The server seemed to be unable to differentiate hand-pulled or hand-cut noodles. Bao was unacceptably lukewarm. The space is small but is well lit.

Authentic Chinese Bao made by non-Chinese... From an American perspective of view, the food is good; from a Chinese perspective of view, the food is below average. It all depends on which culture you come from.

Great little shop with super tasty food. Was almost totally dead inside when I went, so the service was super fast and the people were friendly. They didn’t even make a fuss when I set up my camera on a tripod and started taking photos! Good experience- recommended for sure.

My first time eating Bao, won't be my last. The beef curry and chicken were wonderful, the lobster was a little under seasoned. Service was fast and courteous.

We got the hand pulled noodles and the Chinese crepe. Both were a little bit too salty for me.
The hand pulled noodles were great. The texture was right and the seasonings were well balanced other than the salt issue.
The Chinese crepe is a fully stuffed dan bing which we thought was more of an Asian fusion. The skin had a great texture, the filings were... a lot. They also included American style hot dogs inside which have a very different flavor than Chinese style hot dogs. I would probably pass on the crepe.

Overpriced with flavorless baos. I ordered pork and chicken baos. They were a good size, but they tasted completely bland and flavorless. Save yourself the headache and just pickup some frozen Baos from HMart. They'll be far more tasty.

This was my first bao experience, so I'm not fully qualified to be judging, but I will definitely be back. The curry one was my favorite and had great flavor! My boyfriend enjoyed their new BBQ bao best. It was fast service in a casual setting.

If you've never had Bao, do yourself a favor and try Tom's. If you have had Bao, you've never had authentic Bao like Tom's. No oil is used and the Bao are steamed, meaning it's healthy. One Bao is a good snack, while 2 or 3 are equivalent to a meal. Seriously, it's amazing and hard to describe until you've tried it.
