Verona Pizza

This place years ago use to be good but since COVID they are horrible. Here is one of many examples, I order a pizza for carry out. Was told 15-20 minutes. A half an hour later I stop by to pick it up. I wait a half an hour more. What time I am waiting I notice someone else pick a pizza up and leave. 15 minutes later that same person brings the pizza back and claims it’s not what they ordered. Employee looks at pizza and this says oh, this one is yours and hands it to me. Wanted to give me a pizza that had been cooked over one hour ago, left with another customer and then came back. Next problem is that the place has literally been under construction for over two years. The dining room is filthy and the kitchen looks even worse. All in an environment where your food is cooked. All the while a large pizza goes from $12 to about $18 and gets half as thin at the same time. I recommend you go somewhere else

I got a pineapple and ham pizza it was so delicious the pineapple was juicy and the ham was tender I never had a pizza that was just perfect and I live in Massachusetts and it's hard to find that. The Buffalo chicken calzone was made per order instead of blue cheese got ranch instead and it was good. I also got a large cheese pizza for the boys and they ate they entire pizza ages(6&8) never had them do that before. I'll never have that experience again but if you're in Cambridge Maryland try them

My family and I order from Verona all the time. I called to place a order this evening and was told they don't deliver to my address after dark . I asked since when because I just had a order delivered last week. She told me that it's been that way since she has been there and she has worked there for 2 years. I told her how since all of my orders get delivered night or day. I asked to speak to a manager After a 5 minute wait the manager comes to the phone . She telling me the same thing so I ask for the owners and was told they will be out for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
