Lone Star Texas Grill

I have visited this place for pre-birthday celebration and I am glad I chose this place. Our server was very nice and I am thankful to her for making my day good. The outside sitting at this place is nicely decorated and that slow music makes the experience unforgettable. I am a vegetarian and ordered fajitas, our server made sure we are getting no meat. For fajitas, it’s worth the price for flavour and quality. I have order fries as well and loved them. Definitely returning soon.

They are pushing some "new" items so I ordered the Big Rig Burrito. Well Burritos, in my opinion, should be unfinishable. Nope. this one was moderate at best. But the thing is, and I think I am correct here, the fillings are supposed to be rolled on top of each other. Not beside each other. I ended up with a "neopolitan ice cream" style burrito. Beef then Rice then Refried Beans. Not a very nice experience at all. For the price. It should be twice the size, oh and made correctly. The server was quite pleasent "JD cuz that is what his mamma put in his bottle" he described himself as. Anyway a fairly big fail. The flavours were good. for both meals, just wrong for one. And portions vs. cost are way off. Update: Managment reached out to discuss the issues and although the item is no longer available its preperation was corrected. I will review again if/when I return.

Great food, no issue with reservations. Our server was super friendly but time management was not her skill. We sat for at least 30 minutes or more after finishing main course to either ask for dessert or pay the bill. We decided to not ask for dessert as it took so long after eating to even get her attention and the restaurant was no where near full capacity. Other servers were definitely noticing that we were waiting with a full family (toddler included) to have our bill closed. She didn't run the food either so I'm not sure how she was unable to keep up.

UPDATED Rating: This review is an update to a former comment. Our latest visit(s) to this location are MUCH improved. Thank you Maverick for an entirely different experience! Job well done guys. Delish meal, no issues. Dolly, you are amazing as we’ve always come to expect. Kudos to the location for taking criticism and actually making necessary changes for the better. Usually our favorite place but waited 10 minutes before anyone noticed us in the lobby. Our chips were all broken up because they hadn't made more. The fajitas were good and the waitress was nice but couldnt get over the lapse of attention. And yes...complimentary chips and salsa is a big deal for us when eating Mexican food! Disappointed.
