Wuddup Dog

My coworkers and I wanted all morning till 11 so excited for this place to open to get some lunch. We had some great laughs while looking at the menu online in the morning. We got there we had a good laugh with the owner. The woman in the back looked miserable. And they had their adorable daughter helping out. Unfortunately the food was the worst food. Neither of us 3 ate our food we couldn't believe how gross it was. The bun tasted and felt like it was dipped in the deep fryer. I also don't think they ever clean out the grease. The fries were disgusting. Some were raw and some were hard from being over cooked.. in the same box. Also one of us had frozen and fresh fries. The deep fried pickles were not appealing so those were not eaten. Also disappointed the NYSteakhouse didn't have steak on it. Also half of the menu was unavailable due to him not having the foods. No onion rings. Or tater tots. I really hate making bad reviews. But this one is deserved. I'm sorry. But you need to get rid of the lady in the back. Clean up the building and change out your oil.

Very poor experience. Took forever. Apparently the deep fryer "exploded" Not sure I believe that as we were there at the time but heard nothing. Been in the restaurant business my whole life....never seen anyone deep fry the bun before. The dog itself had gristle throughout but was tasty to some extent. Fries were raw. We waited for 45 minutes for 2 small orders. Here's the thing; it's not that they're not trying because they are. It's that they simply lack the know-how and experience necessary to run a restaurant. Unless there are changes - and fast, this place isn't going to make it. Sad.

Genuinely great place to get a crazy hotdog (or anything else) at any weird hour you want. Service is always friendly, owner is a cool dude. Never once had an issue with the food and have been back at least 5x now. Buns can come fried or not if it isn't your thing, but I think it's a worthwhile touch! Please check this place out, because if they ever disappear I'd be bummed! As a side note, I've seen the owner on two occasions helping out the local homeless, giving food and offering a warm spot in winter and socks. It's a great spot with a great guy running it!
