Menchie's

Pros: bright cheerful decor, open late (10-11pm), 8-10 flavours of frozen yogurt, many many toppings from nuts and candies to brownies, Nanaimo bars and fruit filled gellies. Fun to make your own and mix the flavours. Very exciting the first time. Cons: very expensive, frozen yogurt isn’t the highest quality and not very creamy.

No flavour in the yogurt, great toppings, but soo expensive!! $27 for 3 servings. One of which was for a toddler. After eating the vanilla flavoured yogurt my husband was sick all night. We've been here before, years ago and it was a great experience and it was flavourful. Not sure what changed. Very disappointed. Big waste of money. :( would not recommend.

I visited the store during the grand reopening and I had a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, the place is freshly painted and renovated and the frozen yogurt was super delicious. I am pretty sure I tried most flavours and my favourite is the cold brew coffee, for sure. The new owner has done a great job with revamping the store. I am looking forward to many more visits :)

We were craving frozen yogurt on a Thursday after going out for dinner and decided to go to Menchie’s Cambridge location. We tried 2 types of ice cream - the Nutella and peanut butter and both were frozen ice. I don’t even think a trace of dairy existed in there. It was like eating a soft popsicle. Since we’ve frequented 3 other Menchie’s locations in the past- we knew exactly how the frozen yogurt was supposed to taste - and we have never left without being satisfied. Without commenting to the young girl working, we decided to leave. As we were leaving she screamed at us across the store that we had tried a sample and left and that we were now obligated to purchase something. When we told her the ice cream is watered down and has no flavour she started to eat it in front of us saying she likes it and there’s nothing wrong with it. She continued shaming us in front of other customers for leaving the store. Trust me, it cost me more in gas to get there than the 1 sample of ice cream I took. I feel harassed, publicly shamed, and in utter disbelief that such attitude is encouraged. Although I saw the poor reviews for this location online, I decided to go regardless. I will not be returning. Spend your money elsewhere !

My son and I love coming here during the warmer months. It's pretty pricey so we usually don't fill every inch of our cups.... besides, that would be too much to eat anyways. I find the staff to be polite but socially awkward but maybe they're just young and shy? Regardless we still love Menchies on a hot summer day.

Just left, completely unwelcoming, the employee threw me off because she was wearing her coat like she was about to leave, I thought she was another customer. After she cashed us out, she disappeared into the back and we couldn’t even tell her that the chocolate flavour was spoiled. So sour and totally inedible. Really a shame the only good flavour wasn’t even good to eat.
