Unfortunately, my experience here was poor. I had browsed their online menu before coming here and was excited to see that some of their sandwich options came with gluten free bread and also their prices were very fair. When I arrived at the cafe, I was surprised to see the prices 30% higher than those on the website’s menu and they had no gluten free bread option. I proceeded to order a chicken caesar and veggie wrap. I was shocked to discover both wraps were packed with iceberg lettuce and sauce, while the other toppings were either completely missing or very scarce. I do not believe the price paid reflected the quality. I try to support these small local businesses but its becoming increasingly more difficult. When we pay to eat out we expect the effort put into the food prepared to be better than what we could make ourselves at home.
Edit: I'm very confused how this establishment accumulated over 300 reviews in a week? If there is no association between Creme Cafe and Grind House, please remove the misleading link to the website on Google. A website and Google reviews help people with dietary restrictions plan their visit ahead of time. Other than the iceberg lettuce, the ingredients were so incredibly scant that it felt like they were missing altogether. If I wrote a private email, I don't doubt you would've made things right for me. However, the point of Google reviews is to guide the decisions of other visitors and hope the business owner can make it right for everyone who walks through the door, not just one dissappointed visitor.

Me and my kid were out for a walk and decided to have a coffee and Hot Chocolate. I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that it was by far the best cup of coffee ive had in a long time if not ever .and yes of course ill be going back next time im in the neighborhood.

Been coming here often for my daily coffee and baked good. Always been impressed by the young men's speed and accuracy to my orders. Baked goods always have been fresh and delicious. Nice and cozy atmosphere to just lounge and enjoy a coffee and treat.

Foods Okay, I personally think they charge a little much for sandwiches, but don’t put a lot of meat.
There’s two brothers who run it, the one is extreamly friendly & helpful with any questions, while the other is very short & rude. i had gone in looking to get ice coffee and was told “do you see that on the menu?” i will only come if i see the nice gentlemen working, otherwise i won’t even bother.

Nice looking cafe - not great execution.
Food - I ordered a veggie panini and it was raw slices of yellow pepper and tomatoes with crumbled yellow cheese that did not melt in the press. When you order a veggie panini You’d normally expect grilled vegetables or at least some spinach in there…tuna melt was fine. Even though we ate there, our food was served in to-go containers. We didn’t end up ordering coffee.
The spot - The cafe itself looks nice and like someone intended it to have character, nice selection of local artist/products as well. However the person who served us was wholly disinterested in the cafe. Very perfunctory and sat down on a step to watch videos on his phone after he served us. There was no music in the place - did not make you want to hang around.

We love the coffee here and the owner is very personable, even remembers our favourite order! The cafe itself is very charming with classic books for sale and candles etc. I highly recommend for great coffee, great service and you’re supporting a local business!

This is a cute cafe with various food items. I like the bookshelf. Also, don't leave without buying a bookworm (see picture) ;)

Great vibes here. You must try the butter tarts! There is free on street parking available , however it is easier to park at the library (just up Adam St) and walk down the hill.
