Lovely visit at The Brewers Fayre. Family atmosphere, clean and tidy. Fresh & Airy, great young staff. Unbelievably friendly polite, attentive, smart mostly girls. Not what we are used to meeting out and about. Most are uninterested, totally different experience here. Not one bad word to say, even the toilets were clean. Food was very good, well presented, good portions, Not restaurant Michelin Standard. However above average, for a pub meal. Even young boys said their burger tasted plain, until they used ketchup & Brown sauce. All in all a very good atmosphere at a pleasant pub. Even loved the coffee machine, tasted far better than any machine coffee lately. The coffee is included with a brownie dessert which was a pleasant surprise. Would not have ordered coffee otherwise. Good teamwork, at this Brewers Fayre, well done gang. Keep it up and see you again.
From my phone call to book to the greeting and service.... Maddie was wonderful. She was friendly, welcoming, accommodating and despite being rushed off her feet, very calm.
The rest of the staff were great too. Our carvery was lovely and the children's meals good value for money too.
We visited for all you can eat breakfast 😋 the hist when we entered was really polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed our visit.
Had breakfast yesterday which was perfectly cooked and very hot. Waitress very polite and helpful with our requests. Lovely breakfast all round with tea and coffee refills and excellent choice of continental included in the traditional breakfast price. Go often for the menu deals and food is always very good. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
Came here after traveling a fair few hours and unfortunately they don't allow dogs but we were ok with that as it was a dry day although it was a bit windy sat in the sheltered area outside. We had an amazing young lady called Grace who was behind the bar and she was fantastic, she made us feel so welcome and couldn't be more attentive and helpful if she tried. The atmosphere and friendly service is wonderful. The food was great and good coffee. What more could we ask for?? . I would definitely visit again. Grace is an absolute asset to the pub . Thank you
Nice meals, Good quality food. Excellent prices, good value for money, 3 meals and puds plus 2 alcoholic drinks and a tea for 33 quid.. Only gripe was there was quite a wait between main meal and dessert, we had to ask after 30 minute wait. Staff were friendly and courteous though. All in it was good place to eat.
Food was excellent bar the cheese topped garlic bread. £4.49 for two half inch thick slices was poor value. Did ask staff about it and was told thats their portion size 😗 btw thats a small plate for scale
Up for a business trip and stayed two nights. Ate breakfast and dinner here for both days and I have to say the food was fantastic and in this day of everyone trying to profiteer by raising their prices to silly levels, the midweek deals were brilliant value. Half price burgers on the Tuesday night (the stack burger was amazing) and the fish and chips on Wednesday for £6.99. The fish was absolutely huge. Staff very friendly and the place is really clean and well managed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone from kids to pensioners.
It's a decent pub, friendly, quick service and plenty of seating inside and out.
Always best to book ahead, refill soft drinks available. It is not table service you order at the bar and pay at the bar. Meals genuinely come out in a timely fashion.
Sunday carveries are available on Sundays. Good range of desserts for kids and adults.
Good parking available, outdoor tables available, staff always polite and friendly. Best to book ahead at busy times.
Arrived for breakfast, welcomed with a friendly smile from Maddie, she was lovely and nothing was too much bother.
Family of 6 and breakfasts were cooked fresh to order as buffet only runs at weekends. I found the food fresh, hot and presented perfectly. Children all had different but this was no issue for the chef.
Unlimited breakfasts all round with pastries, cereals, toast, pancakes, crumpets and unlimited supply of hot/cold drinks.
This will now be our regular stop for breakfast when on our way to Alton Towers to start our day with full bellies.
Certainly would recommend the unlimited breakfast especially if your going on a shopping trip to mcarther glen- as its just on the door step.
Only recommendation would be for some back ground music.
Total cost was £20!!!!! each unlimited adult breakfast 2 kids eat free.
