We've only had breakfast here so far but it's been really tasty every time. The breakfast burger on a brioche bun is 🤌. The staff are really friendly too. Will continue to go here.

Visited for breakfast with daughter and grandson. I had traditional daughter had breakfast burger and grandson had sausage and toast. Food was well cooked, got and well presented. The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful. It wasn't overly busy but felt comfortable

Quiz nights on the Thursday(pen and paper) and Friday(speedquiz) each week are great fun with a fantastic quizmaster, lively and inclusive atmosphere.

We visit the Merchant twice a week for quiz night! Having only loved to Cannock less than 2 years ago, we have found the pub friendly, welcoming and great food. The staff are always smiling.
We especially enjoy the SpeedQuizzing on Fridays with Ash. They are fun, engaging and the bonus rounds are always exciting! 😀 Would definitely recommend visiting!

Called in on spec.A wide ranging menu with adult special offers .We had Scampi and Chips and Lasagne ,garlic bread and side salad .
Followed by dessert of Chocolate Fudge cake and Ice cream and Apple biscotti pie and ice cream. With drinks.Good food friendly staff and great price .

First time we have been in the merchant, it was very busy but my husband and I managed to get a table. My husband decided to have the full breakfast, and when I say full, that's exactly what it was. I felt sure he wouldn't be able to eat it all, but he did. He said it was delicious 😋. I had scampi, chips and garden peas. It was ok, but I thought the chips were a bit dry. But it won't stop us from going back. The staff were very attentive, and the service was excellent 👏

Great place for food and drink, really friendly atmosphere. Always made to feel welcomed, spacious and clean. Food selection and prices is always very good. Great host for gatherings when I've arranged family and friends to meet for a meal. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Never a bad meal or experience.
