The Big Drum Cafe

This place is so peaceful and the food is delicious. The restaurant is situated a few steps from the Hight street of Canterbury, so its easy to find it. They have amazing vegan foods and the portions are huge. The staff is very friendly. They also have a room for meditation etc. A blessing to have it in Canterbury.

Every single time I've been here I've been greeted like I'm a friend. I came today to buy some meals from the community freezer and yet again, I was greeted as though I was a friend. the flavours used in these food is just insane and everything is delightfully yummy. I love the community based drive, the fact they recycle nearly everything and 90% of the produce is saved from landfill. I am really excited to attend some events here and ingratiate myself into The Big Drum community 🖤

If you want to feel a big hug as you walk through the door, this is the place to come. There is an abundance of kind faces, and the food is beyond delicious! I’ve found the teachings have helped with my understanding of this modern day world and keep the important things in perspective. Me and my partner have always left feeling euphoric and regularly attend as a date night. 5/5 recommended to anyone who’s needing a bit of guidance, needs a good time or even just wants a few friendly faces around, you’ll always feel welcomed!
