Excellent coffee shop, almost next door to the Cathedral. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great, the cakes are fab & best of all, they're dog friendly. Only problem, is the front door! It bangs shut, every time. Must be terribly annoying for the staff. Please fix it 🙏.
Lovely little place right in the heart of Canterbury. Looks inviting enough, decor inside is nice.
Unfortunately only 4 starts due to the service not being the best, and strangely the menu describes "plant based menu available" however there is very little plant based options. Bananas on pancakes that they could throw together. The menu needs to have more options in general not just for vegans.
The coffee was exceptional though, if I could give an extra half a star for the coffee I would.
Unofficial 4½ stars. 😊
With so many places to choose from in Canterbury, we were very happy to have found this one. The food (we both had cheese melts) and coffee were delicious and the great service was friendly and efficient.
Lovely light brunch with the tastiest coffee and a great selection of cakes and pastries. Staff super friendly 👏🏻
Good spot for a quick bite to eat in the centre of Canterbury. Fairly limited menu but what they do serve is tasty.
great breakfast- we had the poached eggs hollandaise and the chorizo hash, both of which were excellent.
Best Coffee in Canterbury
Hey visited the store in Canterbury after a long walk around the cathedral.
We came across Lost Sheep coffee! Having an Aussie partner is someone who really cares about coffee!
What can I say ‘amazing coffee’ one of the best coffees we have ever had anywhere in the world.
Would highly recommend, although we did not eat the food we had seen being served also looked delicious.
Will definitely visit the next time we are in the city
Great coffee, quirky feel and excellent service.
Coffee was great and staff were friendly and helpful.
I visited Lost Sheep recently with a friend to sit and do some university work and get a drink, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful (especially the young man called Zaid-he was charming) and the atmosphere was really relaxed and inviting. Can't wait to come back!
