This place is amazing . The Mrs took me here for my birthday. The food is top notch , if you like your wine , then you will be spoilt for choice. The service is excellent, its perfect for special occasions and romantic meals . Smack bang in the middle of the city centre . The ox cheeks are a must 😍
Good food but not life changing, but still really good. Honestly no complaints. Got the special sea bass roast. Fish was grilled perfectly, huge serving. Sides were pretty good, although some were okay, most likely because I’m not used to the cuisine. But I can tell the quality of everything was top tier.
White wine sangria highly recommend, sweet and atomic.
Service was incredible. Very attentive host/waitstaff, gave really good recommendations. Could 100% tell that they know what they’re doing and very professional yet friendly.
Wow
What stunning cuisine, absolutely delicious.
Incredibly tasty, ample portions and top quality.
Drinks and wine were excellent.
The service was brilliant, in particular Kitty, who was excellent. So friendly and soon point.
Also special mention to Dbbie Harry lookalike, so professional and so welcoming.
If you're ever in Cardiff, book a table.
It is rather special.
3 courses, wine, beer £90 pp.
Suckling Pig sharer £80. Incredibly tasty, thoroughly recommended
Whole seabass sharer £75
This was by far my Cardiff highlight - especially given we were able to secure a table without a reservation, upon arrival. This restaurant totally deserves its Michelin Guide 2020 nomination. Beautiful touch, impeccable service and yet a friendly cozy inspiring Spanish vibe! The food is delicious and exquisite, difficult to point out which ones I liked the most as all were spectacular!
Wonderful food and great service. This place is definitely worth going to if you like top quality meat and fish. The red wine went down very well.
A very high quality Spanish steakhouse open on Monday, a rarity in Cardiff. My wife isn't into steaks, but we still had a fantastic meal: beef tartar, paella with beef shin and a grilled squid. And rum baba for desser!
You sometimes can know how serious a restaurant is by the way they serve you drinks. Noticed that we ordered two different types of sweet sherry, one came with ice and a slice of orange, while PX came plain, as it should.
I'm sure that if you like sharing large steaks you'd enjoy it here, but even if you don't, there are plenty of other great dishes to choose from.
A surprise visit yielded delightful results. Despite a no-reservation predicament and claims of being understaffed, the team was amiable and service was impressively brisk. The fare was impressive, with standout steak and chips, alongside delectable grilled veggies. Our meal ended on a sweet note with an enjoyable tart. A worthwhile experience indeed.

Without doubt one of the nicest meals and experiences we have had anywhere!
We love good food and ambience and from the moment we arrived until we left we had a truly wonderful time.
All the staff especially Sara and Adam were incredibly friendly gave us lots of time to decide and had extensive knowledge of their menu.
We settled on the cochinillo (it's por shoulder slow cooked in its skin. Wow! Blown away and more than enough for two hungry people. The flavours and meat were cooked to perfection melt in the mouth!
The gin cocktails were equally fresh and fun! We were able to over to a table overlooking thw Street to finish our wine and share a wonderful Spanish creme catlan tart with ham and maple ice cream! Amazing amazing!!
We spent a memorable 3 hours here and the price was extremely reasonable givem the quality of food and service!
Gracias a todo y hasta pronto
Generally speaking, a good restaurant with good service. The steak for two looked great but tasted a bit tough to me, especially considering the price, given the location. The mackerel appetizer was ok, not great. The highlights were the broccoli side and the prawn balls. Good wine selection. I found this restaurant to be somewhat overpriced for Cardiff but worth a visit nevertheless.
Had the most wonderful lunch here today. Arrived early but shown straight to table. Lovely young waiter, Daniel, looked after us. Explained the A La Carte menu in great detail , helping us choose tasty starter of sourdough bread with oil/dip, cured salmon and croquet. Had slow cooked lamb to share(fell off the bone) and Catalan tart to finish. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu!
